Pros:

Sehr komfortables, sauberes Hotel, mit top Ausstattung. Große Zimmer, tolle Betten, großes Badezimmer, sehr ruhig, relativ nahe am Zentrum, welches in ca 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar ist.

Cons:

Frühstück war OK, könnte etwas umfangreicher sein

We had an absolutely wonderful time and will be back again.
Pros:

Everything was great at Berghof. The rooms, the staff, the facilities. One of the most comfortable beds and bedding- felt like sleeping in clouds. The hotel is also right next to the lift that takes you to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise and, if you’re so inclined, to the Italian side in Terra Grigia. Worth noting you can ski there from May to October at 4,000m above sea level.

Pros:

Fantastic hotel option in Zermatt. Views were spectacular and the family room we booked was large. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were also great. Easy walk to the center of town, but far enough out of the center to be peaceful.

Pros:

Die Gastgeber sind außergewöhnlich freundlich und herzlich. Der Blick auf das Matterhorn direkt vom Bett aus war einfach unvergesslich. Auch auf das liebevoll zubereitete, abwechslungsreiche Frühstück haben wir uns jeden Morgen gefreut . Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Snídaně byla skvělá, bohatý výběr. Večeře výborná, s báječným zákuskem.
Možnost kávy na terase s výhledem na Matterhorn.
Krásný teplý bazén a sauna, příjemná relaxační zóna. Příjemné prostředí, rodinná atmosféra. Velmi vstřícný personál.
Dobrý výchozí bod pro výlety po okolí.

Cons:

V neděli je zavřená kuchyně, což nevidím jako nedostatek, ale tuto informaci jsem na bookingu předem nenašel.

Nahe am Matterhorn
Pros:

Das Matterhorn sahen wir direkt vom Zimmer.Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Hunde willkommen.Hunde sind in allen Bahnen und öffentlichen Verkehrmittel GRATIS....Das Morgenessen und Nachessen sehr lecker. Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Hotel liegt direkt neben dem Matterhornexpress.Man konnte mit dem Lift direkt in die Station fahren. Wir schliefen mit offenem Fenster, drotzdem war die Bahn sehr ruhig.DIe Wellnessanlage war sehr schön. Es hat 2 Schwimmbäder,Saunas etc. Die öffentlichen e-Busse sind überall gratis.Man wird vom Hotelpersonal direkt beim Bahnhof abgeholt.Da das Hotel am Berg liegt,können auch Behinderte Menschen problemlos mit diversen Liften das Zentrum erreichen. Es waren sehr schöne Tage.

Beautiful property in private setting outside of main town but within walking distance. Shuttle service from train and wonderful staff. Very nicely decorated and most comfortable accommodations. We would highly recommend to anyone and have plans to return on next visit to Zermatt.
