Hotel Capo San Vito by Geocharme

They didn’t come in and refresh the towels and garbage in room. With it being a beach hotel a lot of sand gets brought in even if you aren’t going into the sand. So we had sand in bed, all on the floors too. We tried to wipe our feet but still came in.

They have a beach front hitel with sunbeds on the beach but no service on the beach you have to go and order and wait for your drink from the hotel and served in paper cups so ridiculous while the other sunbeds you can take glass on the beach right next to them... we ended up going to buy beer from the restaurant next to them... while walking further on the beach there are nice lido s with service on the sunbeds as it should be... wont go again cos for that money I pretend much better service... and the room was freezing ww couldn't control the temperature from the room... we told front desk about it and she said she fixed it as it was programmed like that and we could control from the room after we complained about it but no we couldn't still froze to dead for 3 days

Lo único que quizás mejoraría es que el espacio para desayunar/cenar sea siempre al aire libre. Durante los días de mucho calor y humedad, hubiera sido más cómodo contar también con un salón cerrado y climatizado con aire acondicionado.

The woman at front when we checked in was not nice or helpful, I had to ask her about WiFi and also had to ask her for blankets because they don’t put any in the room. The beds only have a sheet on them. When we returned back from the beach at 7 pm we had no running water - or working toilet. We were full of sand and sweaty and couldn’t shower. No notes no warning from staff. When I went down to tell reception she said ah yes sorry we had a problem, we are trying to fix it. We have no water, it’s broken and offered me a bottle of water to wash up and wash the sand off myself and my 2 kids !! No running water, no flushing toilets for over 14 hours. When I asked if we were going to have water soon so we could at least go to the bathroom and relieve ourselves all she said was ay I hope so and shrugged her shoulders !! The water finally came back on the following morning. If things couldn’t get worse -the ceiling in the bathroom started leaking. Water pouring from above. For all the misfortunes they took 35 euros off the bill for the rentals of their beach chairs and umbrellas .. which is not included in the 500+ dollar a night stay by the way. Never apologized for the water issue or the water leaking from my ceiling -only cared if I took anything from the mini fridge when we checked out so they could charge for something else. Would not recommend and would not go back. Overpriced and customer service lacking for what they offer-which is nothing. Oh if you’re deathly allergic to bees do not go anywhere near the yogurt and honey station, food is not properly covered and bees are rampant! Just a quick fact -
It’s actually illegal to rent out a room that lacks the basic necessities such as a toilet , shower and sink.

Preis/Leistung passt für mich nicht zu 100 %.

Frühstück war okay, aber nichts Besonderes.

Abendessen war ebenfalls okay.

Für diesen Preis hätte ich mir einen ordentlichen bzw. leistungsstarken Föhn erwartet. Ich finde, das darf in der heutigen Zeit einfach vorhanden sein. Es gibt viele Frauen, die sich abends gerne schick machen bzw. ihre Haare stylen möchten. Mit diesem Föhn hätte ich über eine Stunde oder länger für meine Haare gebraucht.

In der Umgebung kann man abends ein bisschen etwas erkunden, aber bereits am 2. Tag war uns leider schon ein wenig langweilig. Deshalb sind wir einen Tag früher abgereist, um uns Palermo anzusehen. Dafür kann das Hotel allerdings nichts.

Room is for one person with a small suitcase can’t have 2 people comfortable

In alcuni giorni la pulizia della camera veniva fatta in modo veloce e poco approfondito (pavimento nn veniva pulito). Problemi con aria condizionata.

The first room was incredibly noisy and we couldn’t sleep, the walls are not soundproof at all. The front desk kindly changed room for us. But the rooms also don’t offer blankets, we were so cold during the night.
And on the last day of our stay, the lady at front desk that day was a bit rude. I just wanted to ask some questions about the beach and she interrupted me before I can even say anything, and kept talking about checking out and additional payment we need to pay before checking out, I guess she just assumed I’m going to check out? And when we asked if we could check out 15 mins late to walk by the beach a bit before we go, she just said no, the check out time is strictly 11:00. Though her colleague later said it’s ok. Weird experience at the last day of the stay, which is a shame

Some of the staff at breakfast/ restaurant were a bit forgetful and uptight but overall the whole experience was very nice.
Tables in glass and bulky chairs made feeding a toddler sometimes dangerous and quite complicated, maybe they may want to reconsider some furniture choices in future…

I think the staff didn’t handle a particular situation well. It was petty. The hotels are given a room temperature welcome water bottle, which is fine. We placed it in the fridge after taking a sip. When the room was made up, this was removed and not replaced (as hotel policy is to provide only the one welcome water). Fine, but why remove it. When we asked about it, it was not replaced. We are talking about 2 euros, it’s no issue to just buy one. But we returned from a long boat trip hoping to have water upon our return and instead had to head out again to buy some. Just because the cleaners removed what was ours anyway. Seems a bit silly for a 4 star hotel charging top dollar. Other than that everything was really good.
