My only complaint my room very noisy from passing traffic
We liked the size of the room. It was clean and we had a good sleep. We also liked the breakfast. Great selection of fresh food and good service. Good quality food. Our only advice would be for the food to be hot instead of warm. After our bad experience with staff the night before, we met Whitney on reception. Whitney was absolutely amazing, approachable, friendly and supportive. Every hotel needs a Whitney
When we arrived, we were tired due to our long journey from north wales. We approached reception, and the guy behind the service desk did not appear to have a clue what he was doing. He told us he couldn’t find our booking, couldn’t find room keys. He made us feel worried and anxious before we had even got through the reception door. He eventually told us that he was seeking further support from a colleague. He did not advise us to take a seat, nothing, left us waiting not knowing what was happening. Eventually a female colleague appeared and continued to talk to the guy without any acknowledgment to ourselves. When he eventually sorted the room, he gave us advice while the female was baking her head at him, not knowing I was watching. It felt really awkward for us.

Great location and has all the hallmarks of a more expensive hotel
The hotel needs to make more use of the outdoor spaces. Lots of little courtyards that weren't accessible. Bar could be better. Very pricey and worst pint of Guinness I've ever tasted.
