Location. Friendly staff and had a spare plug in o charge my phone was very nice.
The food, it was ok, and there could have been more choice for the set menu that was all set out as a buffet. Breakfast was nice.
Great location for travelling through England.
Excellent restaurant.
A minor grumble, it was a very warm day, air conditioning in the rooms would have been a bonus.
The hotel was lovely looking as was the local surroundings areas.
The bed was so uncomfortable the duvet cover was ripped. The toilet leaked and compared to other holes the services for the money were not cost effective!
I have stayed here 3 times now and find it excellent staff are friendly and helpful. facilities throughout hotel are really good and grounds are spectacular
coffee available in lounge on sudat
Spacious room, good decor, Light and airy nice outside space.
Breakfast was cold. USB port would be helpful
Good room and very good dinner
There were banging noises at night coming from above my room. This woke me up several times in the night. I complained about this during checkout but was not offered any kind of compensation.
Friendly staff. Clean room.
View of roof. Dripping gutters onto said roof.
Rock hard chair. Very noisy neighbours (not your fault)
Location and restaurant
The car park smelt of absolute sewage because there vest pits were full up it was absolutely disgusting the smell was so unbearable and sickening. The bedrooms have no A/C yet I spent just under £150 a night on a room. The carpets in hotel lobby where the rooms are were unappealing cleanliness. The beds were also very uncomfortable.
It is very beautiful. There is a lot of space everywhere you go. Large and beautiful room. The gardens and surroundings are a highlight.
The food at dinner was really well presented and they had generous portions but all was incredibly salty. The chips that came with a burger and a steak that we had to clean them one by one to be able to eat them. A lot of salt... I cannot recommend the desserts either. It was probably a bad day for the cook because it all looked fabulous but there were some accidents that could not make the food enjoyable.
On the other hand, the breakfast was fantastic.
Another thing were the beds. We requested a King size bed so that we could sleep together as we always do. This means one adult and 2 children. The bed was nothing close to a King Size. It was more like a queen size.
Other than these things, everything worked well. The staff was wonderful. The place is very clean and beautiful. We would stay there again.
Location and grounds are nice. Main restaurant is lovely
Height of toilet and some areas looked tired and not very clean
Lovely hotel, clean, room size good, nice breakfast, free parking. Couldn't fault our stay and will stay next time we are in this location.
Shower over the bath, prefer walk in shower. Coat hooks as you go in the room would be good to hang wet coats on.
Firstly a great location. We were meeting friend who were travelling from different parts of the UK - that worked well. The reception staff were very welcoming, friendly and most helpful. Rooms were spotlessly clean, everything worked and the bed was comfortable. The hotel has a light airy feeling to it - such a pleasant contrast to some hotels. We had dinner in the Dining Room both nights. I am coeliac so have to be gluten free - staff were helpful as on night 1 the choice was a but limited but they ensured that I was served appropriately. Dinner on night 2 was excellent. Breakfasts were very well organised for GF. Thank you.
Everything was very good so it is difficult to find any fault at all. The breakfast bacon on Saturday was rather overdone so a bit tough but that might have been a on-off error as on Sunday it was delicious!
Pleasant room
