Setting is lovely. Ample car parking. Room was spacious and clean
Room was very hot and no air conditioning, just a very, very noisy column fan. Set menu for dinner did not appeal. Could do with a proper menu with choices of food

No air conditioning!!!!! And rooms in need of update -- flaking paint on ceiling /walls -- silicone in bathroom is dead (some mould) and bath creeks (I'm only 11 stone)
There was lots of parking. The hotel had different areas to lounge and there were snack available too. The staff were really nice. The variety of breakfast suited all of us and had plenty of variety and hot food.
The only negative comment is the room was in the third floor and there was no air conditioning and it was too warm to handle.

The hotel was situated in beautiful grounds and not too far from the train station, we were welcomed by reception staff and then headed to our room which was clean and comfortable, the heat at the weekend was unbearable but a small fan was turned on on the room, we ate in the restaurant for evening meal, the menu is very short but food was great, breakfast was fantastic on both days

Had to move rooms first room was tiny and I had asked and was confirmed to be next to my daughter this was not the case . The room was very very hot and the bathroom had no shower curtain so water soaked the area during shower . Had to have patio open and heard traffic all night so no sleep , shame as the hotel itself was very nice , we enjoyed the common areas just way to uncomfortable to sleep
The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with Continental and Full English choices available. Staff were friendly and helpful. Grounds were neat and tidy and we had a pleasant view.
Unfortunately the lack of air conditioning in the room is a bit of a downer in the middle of a heatwave. There was a fan supplied but as the sun was shining directly in through the lovely big windows it didn't help at all, even with the curtains drawn. I expect it's fine usually but not in very hot weather.
