1. Very close to JR station, less than 5 minutes on foot but you need to wait for a traffic light to cross a road that may take you a few minutes.
2. Staff was nice and helpful.
3. There're 2 coin-washing machines. One poured detergent automatically while the other doesn't. The former one costs you more. If you use the latter but don't have detergent, you can buy it from the reception at a low price.
Perhaps the hotel had some bad experience with customers who checked out late or other issues, I received a couple of papers with a few reminders and fine upon checking-in.

Location was great - just 3 mins walk from the Matsumoto Stn, and within walking distance to attractions like the Castle. Great stopover while doing the Nakasendo Walk.
Rooms were small, but to be expected.
