Het was een bijzonder verblijf, waarbij de gastheer erg vriendelijk was.
Pros:

De eigenaar was erg vriendelijk. Hij bood elke dag aan om ons de weg te wijzen naar de activiteit, of hij hielp ons met het regelen van vervoer. Daarbij konden wij elke avond heerlijk bij hem eten, simpel weg een bericht sturen en het was geregeld, het eten was ook heerlijk. De locatie is ook bijzonder. Je bevindt je midden in een berbers dorpje, en je hebt prachtig uitzicht op Marrakech en als je verder om je heen kijkt zie je prachtige bergen.
Als je van plan bent om te gaan wandelen in de bergen is dit zeker een plek waar je kan slapen.

Cons:

De accommodatie mag iets netter en schoner zijn van mij. De tafelkleden waren niet altijd gewassen, al heeft hij de laatste 2 dagen van ons verblijf deze wel vervangen. De badkamer was wel netjes, nu was de gootsteen wel wat ouder, maar dat maakt het wel authentiek. De kamer was groot. Door de inrichting had je echt het idee dat je je in een berbers huis bevind.

La vue au loin est superbe. L’immeuble a le cachet d’une Kasbah ancienne.

Cons:

Pas de parking (ce qui n’est pas précisé). Accès par un chemin en pente, sale et dans un quartier sans aucun intérêt. Alentours sans intérêt.

La colazione e la cortesia dello staff

Cons:

Quando siamo arrivati non c'era nessuno nel riad e abbiamo dovuto aspettare un bel po' prima di entrare e il numero di telefono specificato è americano (non funzionante)e non c'era nessun numero locale. Le stanze sono piene di polvere e il rapporto qualità prezzo quindi viene a mancare.

Very nice atmosphere. A village, famous for pottery. The receptionist helped bring my luggage up from the main road. The room was beautifully authentic and the balcony and rooftop had great views.

Cons:

Not really a minus, but the Kasbah is up a short steep path from the road. The breakfast was average.

De omgeving van Ourika is prachtig en Kamal is een erg vriendelijke gids/host.
Het eten wat door zijn vrouw werd bereid was heerlijk.

Cons:

De kamer rook wat muf/schimmelig. Ik ben me er van bewust dat het in Ourika een wat vochtig klimaat heerst, maar het is toch het benoemen waard.

De kamer was wel schoon!

Armoedige kamerinrichting en het was vooral heel koud
Cons:

De foto’s van de kamer op Booking.com kwamen totaal niet overeen met de kamer waar wij verbleven. Het was verouderd, niet zo fris, en armoedig ingericht. Er stonden twee straal kacheltjes, waarvan één het geheel niet deed en de ander maar half. We hebben het vreselijk koud gehad. Het bad leek wel een zwembad, we dachten lekker op te kunnen warmen, maar er was geen warm water. De manager was na checken niet langer bereikbaar vanwege de iftar. We hebben in het hotel gegeten op een ijskoud dakterras, van tevoren een menu besproken maar dat viel ook tegen. Geen dessert en koffie zoals eerder wel afgesproken. De volgende ochtend hebben we dit besproken met de manager, hij erkende dat we waarschijnlijk de verkeerde kamer hebben gekregen, omdat een deel van de riad was afgesloten vanwege de kou. De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding klopt absoluut niet

Stunning scenery, warm and beautiful property and friendly and welcoming staff. Amazing
Pros:

The property is absolutely beautiful, massive roof terrace and courtyard full of plants. Loads of places to sit with a beautiful view of the valley. On top of the place being beautiful the staff are amazing. Kamal looked after us and cooked us amazing food, brought us tea and a great breakfast. He even sorted out our transport to the airport at 4am!

I cannot recommend this place enough, thanks so much !

A 30 min des cascades , dans un village de potiers qui aiment vous montrer leur atelier. Kamel est très accueillant et sa femme cuisine divinement bien ! Riad très joli avec belle terrasse et jolie vue. Grande chambre. Merci pour ce moment passé chez vous !
