Pros:

Amazing staff, especially Linda the greek lady, so helpful. Great size room, just beside the main shopping, with loads of restaurants nearby. Good bed, breakfast, bathroom. Has everything.

A pleasant surprise and an excellent base of operations for NEC-based events
Pros:

I was completely surprised by this hotel. I booked it based on its proximity to the New Street Station; we were attending UKGE and the hotels at the venue were wither full or overpriced. I was not expecting the exceptionally helpful and friendly staff, nor the fact that our room felt as though it had actually been designed by a human being for use by other human beings. It is tricky to explain what I mean, but subtle features such as a door between the bedroom and the kitchenette which made the fridge inaudible mean a lot to me as a sensitive sleeper. The hotel has a fully equipped laundry which was quick, easy and relatively inexpensive to use - this was a boon as we would otherwise have had to waste time finding a launderette.

Cons:

I am not entirely convinced that the extractor fan in the bathroom was working, but it didn't cause any issues. The laundry only accepts coins, which can be obtained from reception, but contactless would be more convenient.

Habitaciones muy cómodas y ubicación perfecta
Pros:

Las habitaciones son muy amplias, las cocinas bien equipadas y la cama es muy cómoda. En general todo es muy espacioso y está muy bien cuidado. La ubicación es perfecta sobre todo si, como nosotros, necesitas coger trenes.
Además el centro comercial tan cerca es muy útil y puedes llegar a cualquier parte de la ciudad andando.
La habitación es muy silenciosa.

Cons:

Nos pareció un poco exagerado que solo limpien la habitación gratis si te quedas más de 8 noches y que la tarifa si quiere una limpieza si te quedas menos sea de 24 libras.

New high point in our travels
Pros:

Everything was excellent. The room had ample space and was clean. Linda at reception was exceptionally helpful.

Cons:

There was another reception staff who was not very welcoming or helpful. In fact, it felt like I was interrupting his paper work when I asked for his assistance. The pantry lacks clothing hooks and a dish rack for drying tableware.
