A lovely quiet room facing out onto a courtyard, it was a hot day but the room stayed pretty cool as shading at the front of the property, good to have a window to open at night and a fan was available. Room was a good size with a modern wet room attached. Bed was comfortable. Lovely biscuits made at the hotel. Breakfast was available in a lovely breakfast room with large open doors at the back. A good quality breakfast.
Fan was a little noisy and a bit dusty. Pillows were a bit too firm.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE Staff were all superb. Arrived with my husband who has mobility issues and they went over and above to accommodate and help us, getting staff to support up stairs and ensured the same was available in the morning. Offered breakfast in the room to help, called in the morning to check when we needed help. Reserved a table close to the door, suggested parking and drop off points and provided chairs whilst waiting.
Great food in a historic pub, a huge comfortable room with views across the countryside and real AC, and exemplary service throughout. It would have been a straight 10/10 if the water pressure in the shower had been consistent.

Shower was a bit lack lustre and the all in one shower room was a bit tricky when it had been used.

The only thing is that the shower didn't have hot water. Even though.it was very hot still would have liked a warm shower. Informed the staff very apologetic and would fix it straightaway.
The room was neat and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the Inn is located in a quiet place.
There aren’t any USB or USB-C ports on the power plugs. Also, the room cost could include breakfast downstairs in the restaurant to make it more worth the money.
