Peaceful and historic property. Lovely pool. Friendly and accommodating staff. Many places outside the room to sit and enjoy.

Cons:

Room smelt damp, floor not clean, very small and basic for the price. No view and tiny windows. Though nice trees outside felt peaceful.
nowhere to sit and read in the room - no smell armchair fir example. Bathroom was tiny and bath over shower with a basic hose shower didn’t feel luxurious at all. no shower screen meant everything got wet.

De douches lopen niet goed echt kleine straal, airco werkt niet goed dus best warm.
Daarnaast ligging, begaande grond hoor je echt heel veel geluid pas op!

Overall, this is a beautiful hotel I would return to.
Pros:

Le Vieux Castillon is set in a beautiful village that feels almost dreamlike. While having a car is helpful for exploring the surrounding area, the village itself offers several excellent restaurants and a few charming shops, making it easy to stay local if you prefer a quieter, off-the-grid experience for a couple of nights while enjoying the hotel.

Cons:

We did experience some challenges with the invoice, including confusion around additional charges and items that may or may not have been correctly included.
In addition, the staff appeared to have limited experience with international travelers, which contributed to some of the misunderstandings.
When on vacation, I prefer not to have to worry about the accuracy of my invoice, and this aspect of the stay was disappointing.

Presque parfait mais....
Pros:

L'emplacement est parfait et le bâtiment est magnifique.
Le personnels de l'hôtel est très serviable. Notamment le voiturier de très bon conseil.
Les massages du Spa, j'ai rarement eu un aussi bon massage dans un hôtel.

Cons:

Les prix des " options" qui sont en faites obligatoires:
Notamment le parking 20euros par nuit( non couvert ) et pas de bornes de recharge rapide ainsi que les tarifs du restaurant Azur.
Pour finir l'accès au SPA 50 euros pour 30 minutes... cela ce passe de commentaires au vue de la taille de celui-ci

Séjour restreint eclair suite petit déjeuner mal preparé et csq santé

Gestion petit dejeuner défaillante avec personnel sympathique ,mais inexperimenté.
Signalé à la reception et départ anticipé.
Absence de structure adaptée pour le déjeuner ey restaurant proposé inadapté.
Heureusement restaurants independants sur place adaptés dans le village.

Cons:

Comme classiquement des probémes de personnel.
Stationnement un peu délicat .

La restauration manque sérieusement d un directeur , le petit déjeuner un désastre que de la pâtisserie congelé inadmissible pour un 5 Etoiles,? La cuisine est bonne mais des portion beaucoup trop petites une morille dans l assiette , une asperge alors que c la saisons a 3.50 €le kg ,,? vraiment dommage .
on vous sert l apéritif en terrasse sur des table mouillées il a fallu demander a la serveuse de les essuyée,, un cocktail sans paille et cuillère pour remuer le sucre caïpirinha , des fautes inadmissible ....

O local de uma forma geral. Vila linda, assim como as intalações do Hotel

Não fiquei no quarto que paguei. O quarto na foto tinha uma cama dossel e nao foi o que recebi. Além disso, por ser um Hotel 5 estrelas e o único hotel na Vila, tinham que ter um cuidado maior com os hóspedes. Fui tentar jantar as 21hs da noite no domingo e me disseram que nao serviam mais nada que a cozinha ja estava fechada. Nao podiam servir nem um sanduiche. Me indicaram para ir a cidade mais proxima ( 15 km de la) . Fui, mas ja estava tudo fechado tambem. Tive que dormir com fome nesse dia. Alem disso pedi duas garrafas de agua para o meu quarto e disseram que nao podiam pois nao tinham garrafas sobrando. Sinceramente fiquei bem decepcionada
