The women at reception was really friendly and helpful
Tiny room and in the middle of the room there is a bathtub. Without any curtain or anything. Feels weird when one person is laying down on the bed and another one is just taking a bath in front.
Such a beautiful old hotel, charming lobby with a coffee maker and a continental style breakfast served in the mornings. We had a 6th floor room with balconies and the view was amazing. Gwendolen at the front desk was kind and hospitable and took the time to show us how to use the metro and also gave us many other useful tips with a beautiful smile on her face. I loved the elevator, yes the old building had an elevator which is bonus. I’ve been in high dollar hotels in Istanbul and Venice and we had to lug our heavy bags up many floors. Our shower was so charming as well and the toilet bowl was in a seperate room. The wifi was blazing fast as well. Please overlook the small stuff and appreciate the charm of this old building. The location is amazing, tons of restaurants and shopping, just an all round fun neighborhood with all kinds of cuisine to explore and lovely parks as well to sit and relax with a beurre et jambon baguette and a cup of coffee. Give it a try guys, I’m sure you will appreciate it.
Good location close to metro station and a quick walk into back streets of Le Marais. Very nice room, well appointed and comfortable, with air-conditioning. Good size for the location also. Very friendly and helpful staff.
A very convenient location with a comfortable bed and good aircon. The staff were super lovely, welcoming and helpful in navigating the train system. We had a beautiful view of the street also with some really nice cafes around.
Our room was great but I heard from other guests that the aircon wasn't great in some rooms

The hotel has a great location right next to a metro station. Air conditioning was a big plus, especially during the hot weather, and the small lift was very useful for taking our luggage upstairs.
For €300 per night, there were too many downsides. The hotel describes its breakfast on Booking.com as “good”, which I find very misleading. The entire breakfast selection consisted only of bread and pastries, jam, butter, coffee and juice.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Instead of a proper double bed, two single beds had simply been pushed together, and they constantly moved apart during the night.
There is no room service and no fridge in the room. The coffee in our room was not replenished once during our five-night stay.
Most importantly, the housekeeper opened our room with her own key several times while we were inside, despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being clearly displayed on the door. This happened more than once and made us feel very uncomfortable.

Staff lovely and location perfect
We loved our short stay at Hotel Emile! The staff was so helpful when we found on checking in that Expedia had cancelled our reservation (although I had received a confirmation/reminder about our stay 3 days prior?) and found us a room at the same rate we had been expecting. Such a relief and so appreciated! The room was very small but so cute and lovely — the big windows and balcony are perfect. The location was fantastic and staff super friendly. Highly recommend!
