Hôtel très bien placé pour visiter Malacca, avec un hall extraordinaire. Le personnel était réactif.
Notre chambre était au rez-de-chaussée et nous avions une fenêtre mais qui donnait sur un mur...La chambre était donc très sombre, un peu petite. La salle de bain était très bien.

Hele mooie inrichting, goede kamers, goed restaurant en 1 tentje ernaast kun je ook heerlijk ontbijten. Verder ook nog eens een goede locatie.
Enige pijnpunt voor sommigen is dat het geen zwembad heeft.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Das Personal war nett. Das Hotel hat einen eigenen Parkplatz. Man ist schnell in der Innenstadt.
Das Frühstück war leider recht teuer und dafür recht wenig. Das Zimmer ist sehr hellhörig.
As soon as you walk in, you’re immediately transported to a tranquil retreat in Bali. In the lobby you’re greeted by dark wooden interior, chic decor and the sound of trickling water flowing into the fish pond. Fantastic first impression. The staff are welcoming. A special mention to Anna, who helped us with changing room (see why below). We stayed in an Executive Suite on the 1st night, and then a Deluxe Room for the rest of our stay. The rooms are clean, adequately furnished, with heritage aesthetic. Big comfortable bed and equally big pillows that ‘promise’ a good night sleep. The hotel is located within walking distance of Melaka’s historic sites and eateries.
Very poor soundproofing. We didn’t get any sleep on our first night. The Executive Suite we were in (209) faces the road. The traffic noise was terrible during the day and at night. The sound of motorbikes that passed by could be heard throughout the night. We requested to move and happy to downgrade to a smaller room (202), which is located in the middle of the building, away from the road. We got much better sleep from then on. While the traffic noise was minimal once we moved, there were other noises. The pipe/water system could be heard whenever you or your neighbour use the bathroom. Conversations next door could also be heard. I had to knock on their door and asked them to keep it down.
Poor insulation. It gets extremely hot quickly in the room when the air-con is off. So it has to be on all the time.
Could be better value for money. There’s no mini fridge in the room. Iron is only available upon request and you can only keep it for 2 hours. There’s also a $200 deposit to be paid at check-in. Not a problem, but be sure you have it ready.
We paid less for a full-service one bedroom suite in the heart of KL, with better amenities and yes, an iron in the room that we could use anytime.
