Enjoyable.
Pros:

Friendly staff, clean facilities, close to the restaurant and bar and an easy walk to the center of the city. Right across the street from Jake’s, one of my favorite restaurants.

Cons:

Mattress was a little off (one side sunk further in than the other). Room was very small, but the building itself must be at least 100 years old. The facilities are scaled based on what the building allowed. This wasn’t a major problem, because if you are visiting Portland in the summer, the majority of your time is spent outside. The air conditioning was a big plus as well. Smaller rooms share bathrooms located just outside in the hallway. Really nothing more than a minor inconvenience. All in all, a pleasant stay.

Neat pool, but not worth it.
Pros:

Pool was fun location convenient

Cons:

There was no bag in the bathroom trashcan and used sanitary products left out for the entirety of our stay. Very bare bones and not very tidy.

My day was great really good location for what I needed and a very nice facility with a lot of charm.
Pros:

The property was very unique and well laid out. Nice amenities and charm.

Cons:

Would’ve been nice to have your own bathroom in the room, but wound up not being an issue

Pros:

What an amazing, unforgettable hotel. I stayed 4 nights and loved every moment, from the boho Silversun Pickups room to the basement bar and gorgeous restaurant and soaking pool. The Crystal ballroom was only one block away. I can't wait to go back!

I had to come home.
