Great Staff, comfortable clean rooms & good food
a little on the expensive side, but suited me better to be outside Killarney,
The Torc Hotel is just outside Kilkenny and very comfortable. The staff were welcoming and the breakfast was outstanding. Try the French Toast for something different! The room was quiet despite the number of Rally guests during the Bank Holiday.
The tub is quite deep and difficult for older guests to step into, but the water was hot and the bathroom very spacious.
breakfast gorgeous
coffee with evening meal, very watery
Lovely scenic location.
Lovely christmas decoration
Great breakfast, cooked fresh
Excellent staff, even workmen passing through said, Good morning
Spotless room
Lovely staff
Clean and comfortable
Very close to Killarney was very convenient that way. The day we explored Killarney we were too exhausted that evening to figure out where to eat so we decide to eat at the hotel restaurant/bar and it was very good.
This hotel was great but does need a little refresh. It's looking dated but it met our needs and the front staff were great. The breakfast was fantastic as were the staff. We were late for dinner but the bar was well attended and food we saw looked awesome. Yes I'd return and recommend.
Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Building is old, however for its vintage the room was surprisingly quiet. Breakfast was tasty with a good selection
Very comfortable beds . Rooms are clean and food was fantastic .
Excellent in all regards. Food excellent as well.
Our stay here was just okay.the room was okay but you can hear people walking around upstairs very clearly. The real downsides here was the breakfast which was very poor and everything was done on the cheap.
Catherine at the front desk was super lovely and we had no trouble checking in or out! The food here is also great and convenient when you’ve had a long day of travel. I definitely recommend their seafood chowder! Yum! Breakfast was also super good and convenient before heading out for the day!
The room was spacious and clean. We loved our stay here.
Food was excellent after a long day’s driving. Very convenient
It's a nice room, clean with all the stuff you need
The room was really lovely. I had a bad back and the receptionist put us in a room with a bath so I could soak. Breakfast was great, staff friendly.
A little bit more out of downtown than I thought.
Excellent staff
Beautiful clean room with heated bathroom floors. Bed was comfy and the food in the pub/restaurant was top notch. Would definitely stay again. There isn’t any nearby restaurants or services so it was great that the hotel had such good food. The breakfast had many options k clding cold cuts and pastries and the hot options were cooked to order. This was a jewel of a find for our road trip to the Ring of Kerry.
