Excellent! Can’t wait to return to explore all that Philadelphia has to offer!
Pros:

Awesome staff! Amenities cannot compete with other hotels in the area! The complimentary social hour and continental plus breakfast sets this hotel above all others! The location is central and I felt very safe walking to nearby attractions! The staff makes sure you are headed in the right direction! They were my personal travel assistants! Also, the room was extremely clean and comfortable! This will be my preferred hotel for future visits for business as well as pleasure! Thank you!

Friendly staff, out of date hotel.
Pros:

The staff is really friendly and welcoming. The location is also great, especially for free parking if you can parallel park. Safe area as well.

Cons:

The room was very small with dusty lighting. The air conditioner was set to 75 for the building, so you are unable to control the temperature from your room. It was very hot, especially with the bad air quality, my partner and I barely slept and woke up with sore throats. Then when we woke up, we discovered the elevator was broken. I would’ve rather spent the money I paid on a Hilton Room or Wyndham.

Overall the Alexander Inn was a great stay for the price we paid!
Pros:

The location worked well for the event we went to and was close enough to parking and walking distance or a quick Uber ride to all we wanted to see. I loved the idea of having a little social (we weren't able to attend but the idea was great). Breakfast was pretty good, just wish there had been a measuring cup for the waffle maker... The room was pretty good, our door was hard to open and the bathroom door was difficult too (older building for sure) but otherwise the room worked for us. The bed was not the most comfortable but it also wasn't terrible and I appreciated the very fluffy pillows.

Cons:

The bed could have been comfier and the doors need a little work to open more smoothly.

Holiday/Tourism visit
Pros:

The location and setting was just right for us. It was nice not being in the standard Holiday Inn. There were things that they could have improved on, but we found those to be minor. It was only a few minutes to get where we needed to during the day, it was pleasant to come back to, and we slept well at night. That's what you would want from a good hotel.
