Pros:

Great location, nice pools and hot tub. Coffee and tea always available. Staff is very helpful.

Cons:

Mattresses are too soft. Buffet breakfast is not good. Continental is OK. Too much is precooked and prepackaged.

Overall, it was a great stay.

How clean the facility was

Cons:

The stairs leading up to the second floor was not labeled , so it appeared they only led to the third floor. It would be useful if upon check in you were provided with a map of the grounds. We were not sure what building our rooms were in?

A nice place to stay - good location and plentiful parking
Pros:

Location was good, room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Facilities were good. Parking was easy.

Cons:

For over $400 per night, hot breakfast should be included, intead of looking to charge more $ for it. Maybe also leave the facilities open a bit later - they closed pretty early (pool/hot jacuzzi tub, fire pit etc)

All round, this should be your LAST resort
Pros:

Not very much I’m afraid

Cons:

Rooms size was a joke, our balcony was so small we couldn’t get two people on it, and the bathroom was so small it didn’t fit a sink. Yes, it was clean, but it was micro. Even the beds were like Lilliputian versions of beds - no way are they queen or even full - more like single. It’s also a decent walk from town down a nondescript highway. We saw so many families in the same situation - you get the room key excited to drop bags and come out with dejected faces knowing they have your cash and don’t care. Oh, and they really don’t care, the staff charged us twice and we had to call for a refund, no apology just “you should get it in 7-10 days”. The AC unit (that took up most of our balcony that had a view of some cars) was on and off all night no matter what setting we changed in the middle of the night. Basically like being woken by an F14 taking off every 20 minutes- just when you had drifted off from the last assault on your senses that shocked you from sleep. I don’t leave reviews often, they have to be standout establishments either good or bad, and this was dreadful.

overall good stay
Pros:

location was good. close to downtown. we did not eat breakfast there Room was clean. Bed comfortable Fitness center fantastic. Movie theater is a bonus.

Cons:

Pool area small. Check in desk staff was slow Lady at the desk was warm and helpful We could not close door to the bathroom. Hallway lights shining through curtains.

Our summer tradition!
Pros:

We stay every summer for our family vacation to Maine! My kids refuse to stay anywhere else or go anywhere else. They love the pool, hot tubs, our evening (short) walks to get ice cream, walks to the beach during the day, and I love the Marginal Way at the end of the street.

And less exciting but I LOVE the coffee and kids indulge in the unlimited hot chocolate. Ha!

Have returned for the past 30 yrs
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful has a lot to offer. The only trouble we had was at ck in there was only one person working the desk. Made ck in time difficult. We have gone to the Meadomere for the past 30 yrs… love the new up grades

Perfect family vacation
Pros:

We came for a family vacation and it was the perfect location from the grandparents to the grandchildren! We loved the pools and activities. The kids were entertained the whole time. The staff was fantastic and so helpful and we made some lifelong memories. A stand out was the restaurant and the staff there! The location couldn’t have been better. We can’t wait to return next year!

Great 3 day getaway!
Pros:

Room was great. Nice to come back from the beach a d swim in the pool. Many amenities we didn't use because we spent our days at the beach. Staff friendly! Right ar the end of the street is the entrance to Marginal Way which I enjoyed walking every morning!

Pros:

Room was beautiful. Location was convenient 10-15 minute walk to downtown ogunquit same to beach as well as Perkins cove. On site parking was not great.

Pros:

Bugs in room. Tight as hell - bathroom and vanity are very small for 4 guests. No extra garbage bags. Room cleaning requests ignored. Wifi is mediocre. PARKING IS TERRIBLE!!! Pool is not maintained during the day; towels everywhere with nowhere to lay. Service is slow af. Nothing useful at "gift shop" I was overcharged for my stay with no response.

Overall it’s ok but the rest of these things need to be done been coming for 40 years so I hope to see these things done
Pros:

Room was nice beds very comfortable

Cons:

Ants in room and the ceiling lamp in the corner is way too big. We all whacked our heads on it. The table is too small and the lamp is way too big.
Sauna light didn’t work and old needs new sauna
Steam room absolutely disgusting black mold and scum all over and very bad smell. Needs to be replaced.
Indoor hot spa old and needs upgrades. Waterfall has been clogged for three years now needs to be cleaned so it comes out evenly.
Ventilation is needed also too stuffy in there not enjoyable. Water was dirty and smelly. Also not full to correct level.
Chairs outside not good choice half were bent over and just left there.
Stone steps going up to indoor pool broken now for a couple years needs replacing. I tripped going down because the stone is falling apart.
