The little national hotel is a great concept if you want a room for a short term stay
Cons:

I last stayed at this Little National Hotel in October 2022, there has since been and is still considerable construction work going on around the area. The room I had was looking a little bit unloved and could do with a bit of a freshen up.

Computer says no
Pros:

The location is great and the room is so comfortable - love the office and lounge spaces on the 6th level … this used to be a fabulous place to stay but the last visit left a lot to be desired.

Cons:

Automated works well - until it doesn’t. The lights wouldn’t go on - maintenance had to be called. The door wouldn’t unlock. Maintenance had to be called. And there’s a pay machine in the lounge for snacks and drinks. But you have to download an app, add cash to it … only to find the drink you chose doesn’t download. And after you self check in and self check out you have to wait for someone to let you out of the carpark - yes it’s automated too, asking for the card you had to leave when you checked out! I used to love this place but when they don’t even do the housekeeping (saving the environment … I don’t mind reusing a towel but not sure making a bed uses many resources) .. it’s a lot of money for a bed! Rethinking where I stay for the next quarterly meeting.

Excellent value for money, great bed and facilities for the money
Pros:

Fabulous property with excellent facilities. Room is small compared to the average hotel room, however, the bed was very good and the room amenities were excellent. Perfect room for business travel with all the essentials very well catered for. Highly recommended!

Cons:

Theres not much to not like about the property as everything has been very well thought out. My only minor gripe would be the lack of a direct passage from the car park to the lobby and/or lifts in the carpark to be able to access your room more easily. Having to navigate around the car park traffic and boom gates to wheel your luggage around to be able to access the lobby is a little annoying. Not a deal breaker, but something that probably should've been considered when designing the building.
