I left a day early and forfeited the amount I paid for the booking. We could not fathom staying any longer.

Cons:

Unclean showers and smelly drains, AC not working well in both rooms. Food was not fresh, the bread was especially stale

Gem in Kataragama
Pros:

The receptionist I believe her name was Tharushi. Her smile and welcoming aura is what made our stay off to a good start. She even helped us with booking a Yala safari and also helped us with the early breakfast

Cons:

The restaurant is understaffed which meat an Al a carte order could take up to 2 hours unless pre ordered.

In general would always go back as the staff and management is top level.

Wonderful stay
Pros:

The rooms were both clean and spacious. At the reception Sulakshi was exceptionally warm and welcoming, while Anushi at the restaurant proved to be extremely helpful, and the meals were delicious.
Overall, the ambiance and the service were wonderful.
Looking forward to visiting again.

Cons:

The bathroom was very smelly and stinky.
Aircon was leaking water into the bed which was very uncomfortable.
When we complained this to the Manager Manjula, he seemed to have brushed this off with his ever so technical explanations. He seemed to be so defensive about it rather than trying to correct it.

Una grande delusione per quello che ho pagato… anche perché su Booking ho effettuato la richiesta di una camera matrimoniale delux con un balcone vista piscina e mi avevano dato un buco senza balcone e sono stati pure in silenzio. Quando ho fatto notare questo enorme mancanza di attenzione alla signorina nella reception “mi ha risposto che loro non riescono a visualizzare i dettagli della camera da me selezionata e vedono solo una camera matrimoniale deluxe per ciò non era un loro errore mi dicevano. Assurdo che mi hanno fatto pagare appena arrivato manco il tempo di respirare almeno mi hanno offerto un succo di anguria E dopo il loro errore manco si sono scusati finché non è arrivato il direttore del hotel che era l’unico che si è scusato ed venuto incontro cambiando però il giorno dopo la stanza .. pessima esperienza!!! Che delusione
