Good but expensive
Pros:

For reasons unknow We ended up paying £205 through booking.com for a double room. And breakfast was an extra £30 for two. A nice historic pub in the middle of town but expensive

A comfortable 2 night stay. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Could find better in Barnstaple
Pros:

Location was good but hotel car park hard to find.

Cons:

Room, was extremely noisy, being next to kitchen extractor fans,
Breakfast, everything on the plate was cold except for the eggs, which were cooked to order. Staff cleared plates but did not comment on the fact that they were removing the plates with the same amount of food still on them as when they put them down.

Great hotel in very handy location.
Pros:

Great location and helpful staff really lovely restaurant and food was perfect,always stay here when visiting Barnstaple.

Cons:

Parking a bit limited but staff made sure my space was saved which was greatly appreciated after a long journey.
