Stunning location with views straight out to the ocean and really helpful and friendly staff (big shoutout to Heather for taking us last minute to the Needles in the free cab!). The air conditioning was also a luxury during summer. Breakfast was great too! We would definitely stay here again
Dust and cobwebs around the balcony door should be cleaned but otherwise a very comfortable stay
This is a fantastic location and the rooms are well appointed and well maintained.
The staff are very pleasant but unfortunately at times you get the impression they are struggling and there is a lack of leadership. This is an expensive hotel but it doesn’t always reflect the premium cost with premium customer service.

Nothing to pin point. Everything is perfect
I stayed with my parents in suite 211 and Pavilion Room 2. We were checked in by a lovely young woman - who helped us with our bags, sorted out missing parasols - fixed them etc. We would have liked an accessible suite for my mum since she has a knee issue, but the hotel was fully booked out. And changes were not possible. Fair enough. Mum climbed up and down two whole flight of stairs from the 1st floor to get to her room on the 2nd floor. But our mistake - should have checked at the time of booking.
What was standout disappointing though, was the facilities upkeep and maintenance issues in my Pavilion Room 2! On the 30th after the first night I reported a problem with the shower tray with water accumulating and spreading to the bathroom. I was told it would be looked into. Same problem again on the 1st. This time the bathroom had flooded even more - and I had to put towels down. Before leaving, I told reception - and they assured me that housekeeping had also highlighted the same issue and the maintenance team would be over to check it out. Cut to the 2nd morning - last shower - the same issue all over again. And to top it off the carpet at the entrance under the split wall mounted a/c was completely drenched and wet too. I brought one of the reception staff over to the room and showed her how wet the entrance carpet was and the bathroom floor as well. She told me she would talk to the manager and see what they could do. Unfortunately, after discussion with her manager, who apparently was in an important meeting, I was told in a very dismissive manner that the maintenance crew had checked the shower drainage and it was all working fine with ten minutes of running water. Extremely disappointing behaviour. Spent three nights here and spent over £1100 for my room and this is not the levels of service expected! The views at the Albion are just standout fabulous though and the restaurant staff were courteous and welcoming.
Guest relations and complaints management. The Albion is clearly run by a single owner and not a large hotel chain. They have spent on refurbing the property - but I suspect there are issues with plumbing and the standard is not maintained throughout. Instead of taking guest feedback positively and working towards a solution, their strategy was clearly to discount it all.
Beautiful location, everything you could need in a room (comfy bed, dressing table, lots of mirrors, fresh milk, storage, air con, great breakfast)
Hard to find but if I’m being picky;
no coat hooks in bedroom.
Evening menu had no steak
No hair conditioner
Still booked again though
The hotel and staff were very acceptable and we enjoyed our stay.
In some ways we wish that there were more amenities around the area, nevertheless it was a fine hotel and we enjoyed our stay.

Never had any teabags available at breakfast also the hot water flasks are hard to get the water out and are not great - silly system and makes the whole breakfast stressful as all you want is a decent cup of tea without having to keep asking for teabags
Our room and the views from it were amazing. The hotel was lovely and very high standards , our room and facilities were very luxurious . The taxi to drop us and fetch us from the wedding venue was a great perk.
We had a lovely meal in the restaurant on our first night but it was very very expensive.
