I did not like anything about this place. The pictures do not represent the motel at all, in anyway. It is obvious that at one time it was own by someone professional and who cared.
We were shown rooms with unmade beds and used sheets. Old, dirty & creepy, should not be on Booking.com, we could not stay there, it is a travesty to your name to represent this place. The person at the front desk, it seems is running an electrical repair business in the front lobby. This person had diry feet. He had to inspect the rooms before showing them, at which time he puffed-up the pillows and tried to hide the fact that beds were unmade from the previous guest who maybe had stayed there weeks ago because there was noone in the parking lot, it looked like a ghost town. Everyone or anyone coming to town were staying at the Baymont Wyndham hotel and rightly so.

lifted the lid for the toilet and it was full of old feeses The floor was dirty. There is a glass table which was very dirty and had bits of old food on it. We should have and wanted to leave but there was only 1 other motel in Gold river. We also should have asked for our money back

The location was good and pretty central. The hotel clerk at the front desk was nice on arrival.
Our room was not clean at all. The walls were dirty. The wood lining around the bed frame was very dirty. The cupboards that held a few items were very dirty. There was a sign up that said if we didn't do our dishes there would be $100 added to your bill. We didn't use any dishes as it was dirty. The fire alarm was taken out of the ceiling. The breakfast room was not clean. There were bagels in the refrigerator and apple juice along with peanut butter and jam.
Shower did not function properly, would not shut off water to the tub and you had to hold the shower lever all the time to get any type of water to the shower head
We end up not staying. The hotel is in super bad condition. Luckily, the manager was super nice and refunded us the money.
If you are going to Gold River, do not believe the pictures or this hotel. It looks nothing like it.

My room was a mess, food left in the fridge, clothes in the closet, shampoo & body wash left in the bathroom, the 1 bed looked like it was laid on top of. And after requesting a GROUND unit room for my elderly mom who’s healing from a broken hip, they had us in a 2nd floor unit. I just wasn’t happy with this
