I loved my stay. One thing I didn't like is the check-in and out doesn't sum up to 24hr which I paid

Serious health, cleanliness, and maintenance issues, including BED BUGS, BLACK MOLD, greasy kitchen and utensils, broken

Unfortunately nothing. This place is not equipped for renting and should be closed for business.

Cons:

Our stay was extremely disappointing due to numerous cleanliness, maintenance, and health concerns that were never addressed by the hosts.

Most importantly: bed bugs. This alone is a serious health and safety issue and completely unacceptable for a rental property.

In addition, the basement had visible mold and an overwhelming musty odor. The kitchen was filthy, with grease covering the countertops, walls, cabinet handles, and even the cutlery. The dishwasher was broken, and the kitchen sink repeatedly flooded. The bathroom was also poorly maintained, with heavy limescale and soap scum on the shower door, and both bathroom sinks were clogged with standing water.

The upstairs bedroom also lacked privacy due to a strange interior opening (essentially a window without glass) looking directly into the kitchen. Basic supplies were insufficient as well—we were provided with an inadequate amount of toilet paper for our stay.

We notified the hosts of these issues promptly. The only issue they addressed was one of the clogged bathroom sinks; all of the other problems—including the bed bugs, mold, broken dishwasher, flooded kitchen sink, and overall cleanliness concerns—were left unresolved. We were also told someone would come on Monday to address the remaining issues, but no one ever showed up.

The combination of bed bugs, mold, and the overall lack of cleanliness raises serious health and safety concerns. It’s difficult to recommend this property given both the condition of the rental and the hosts’ failure to adequately address these issues after being notified.
