I really liked the bed

Prior to booking, I asked about late check-out fees and was informed—on two separate occasions by different staff members—that the charge would be $10 per hour. Based on that, I planned accordingly.
However, when I extended my check-out until 2:00 PM due to unforeseen circumstances, I was charged $30 plus GST for two extra hours. This does not align with the information I was originally given.
Clear and consistent communication is very important, especially when guests rely on it when making decisions.
Could you please clarify the correct policy? If the rate is indeed $10 per hour, I would appreciate a review of this charge.
