Directions: Follow M62, M58 or A580 to Liverpool. On reaching the city, continue on Bowring Park/A5080, leading into Edge Lane/A5047. Turn right onto Commutation Row, left onto Churchill Way/A57 and follow A57 round into Dale Street. Turn left onto Castle Street and the hotel is on your left - there is a loading bay outside. For parking information you can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details provided in your confirmation.

Great location.
Staff weren’t very friendly or helpful at all. The whole hotel needed a good scrub. The lift was disgusting and the edges around the floors were very dirty. Don’t smell
Good at all. The room itself was totally disappointing. Dirty and smelly. Would definitely not return. The shower was manking and needed a good clean, the skirting boards were dirty, the curtains were dirty, there was dust hanging in the vents and the drain clogged quickly as they were filled with dirt.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. It has all you need, although basic. It’s excellently located near some lovely bars and restaurants.
This is very much a hotel for people who are planning on having a big night out. I had booked to stay overnight to get some kip for a relatively early morning engagement. Perhaps this is somewhat on me for not doing my research, but I settled down for an early night and was kept awake until past 10pm by other guests getting ready for their night, talking loudly in the corridors, doors slamming etc. It’s a fairly old building so the sound does travel. Also, I was awoken about 5am by a man screaming and banging on a door for around 10 minutes before anyone intervened. This is, of course, not the fault of the hotel, but I feel like if you’re intending on a stay, to note it’s more for party-goers than business. Also, no tea/coffee kettle - you can purchase it from the reception for a fee. It’s basic, clean but worn and a little shabby.
The location is great
The hotel is not that clean, there was a stain on the quilt cover and the air con in our room was filthy and broken the buzzing sound coming from it woke us up a lot in the night. Worth spending an extra £20 to stay somewhere else with much nicer facilities and guaranteed good night sleep.
Clean central and safe
Room was fairly quiet and the price was very good
It's a bit of a weird layout and easy to get lost but otherwise can't fault it at all for the price

Location
The day I checked out I heard staff members complaining to one another about breach of safety the previous night and it had turned out someone who was not allowed in the hotel had some how gained access so it was a security breach. These things happen, discussing them infront of guests who are just leaving and guests who are just arriving should of been considered though. Overall, staff did their jobs well and were friendly when needed to be.

I love how you have a lounge area and the quirky furnishings they have.
I would say we have only ever paid around £40 a night so I am going off of that price range.

They up prices when certain events are on but all hotels do this

Me encantó que pudimos hacer el check In antes de la hora ya que estábamos cansados porque veníamos de otra ciudad, el trato fue muy bien, todo estaba limpio , la ubicación es impresionante... No cogimos transporte público para nada, teníamos todas las cosas importantes cerca. Tienen el greec en la puerta y un sainburys enfrente lo que nos salvo las cenas y los desayunos, en cuanto a ruido para estar en el centro... Por poner una pega, solo se escuchaban las gaviotas de día y de noche, pero como forma parte de la ciudad tampoco nos molestó. En definitiva si tuviera que volver a Liverpool no buscaría otro alojamiento más que este. Estamos muy agradecidos con todo. Gracias. Pd lo que se ve en las fotos es lo que hay y eso nos gustó, porque veníamos de otras 2 ciudades y no tenían nada que ver las fotos con los alojamientos.

Room had flies buzzing around everywhere , barely any toilet paper damp patches on the walls and dust and cobwebs hanging from the beams above your head .
Doors staff dont seem interested in fixing any issues had to leave in the middle of the night and go to another hotel
