The character of the building, beautiful,stunning and big gardens, the staff were lovely especially Bill the new manager.
There is nothing to not like here, but if I’m to be picky I’d say, the cleanliness needs to be improved, dusty room and leaving near empty toilet rolls out as well as new ones is not what you would expect.
Building was beautiful and our room was very comfortable. The room had an oscillating fan which was fantastic. Bathroom amenities included shampoo/ body wash, conditioner, hand soap, and hand lotion. I was really happy to see this, as most places I've come across in the UK are only offering a shampoo/ body wash. Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff were absolutely fantastic. Very friendly and accommodating, we so appreciated them. Breakfast was delicious and the attendant was very sweet and efficient. The grounds were lovely, we really enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the quiet. Would stay there again.
