Pros:

The apartment was clean and functional. The little treats were generous. The quality of the tea bags not so good. It provided everything we needed. The very best thing - the staff at reception - super professional; very welcoming and helpful across the stay.

Great option just outside CBD
Pros:

Location was spot on - close to train station with good links / regular services to city.
Down a side street off the main road making it quieter.
Close to good cafes and restaurants
Apartment was clean with a few snacks provided. Local IGA supermarket at top of the street too.
A spacious layout, nice and dark for good sleep in's.
Bed and sofa comfy.

Cons:

Room key didn't work at least once a day during 3 day trip, everyday had to get it reset or a new key.
When at reception once i heard the room rate quoted over the phone at a lot lower than i paid.
Maybe check rate across multi sites or direct to get tje best deal?

We enjoyed the location and the apartment was very comfortable and clean.

The two bedroom
apartment was very small and had a weird layout. It was also very dark. Only one bathroom and one bedroom had no window.

Always my first choice when in Melbourne
Pros:

I have stayed at the district hotel apartment numerous times and I can’t be happier. The girls at the reception are very helpful, facilitating and accomodations are clean and you find popcorns and chocolate to welcome you, which I think is extremely cute and makes you really feel at home and are perfect if you have travelled and need a little snacks. When I needed extra towels or anything else I was helped promptly. I travel alone so this as a woman makes me feel much more comfortable. The position it’s excellent too. Everything you need is at your doorstep, including the train station, shops, clubs .. highly recommend
