Great location, parking, friendly staff, there was a fan in the room, which was great at night, as we had warm weather. Lovely breakfast. Clean room.

The hotel was well staffed by friendly and accommodating people. It was perfectly located for us as we were married just over the bridge
We paid for a suite and although it was clean the sink in the bay was badly cracked, the shower door handle was broken with a part missing. The small window in the shower room was stuck with presumably rusted hinges so it was unable to be opened any further or closed.
The sash window in the lounge area was also broken and a piece of wood had been provided to wedge it open.
It was only 23 degrees that day but the room was stifling all night. A single fan was provided but the fan speed control switch was broken and missing.
The bedside lamps were still fitted with older style low energy bulbs. Other bulbs had been changed to LED ones.
We had paid a high price £250 ISH for a single night) for a suite for our wedding night and were disappointed that the facilities didn't match what should be expected. Very disappointed.
No bathrobe or Slippers
A very pleasant stay. Garden was very enjoyable especially with the old fashioned carriages on display. Breakfast was a very high standard. All staff friendly and informative.
TV too complicated in room. Instructions need to be left.

Parking was not the best for disabled people with the main car park on the opposite side of the road.

Car parking can be a pain.
One minor complaint my wife went for breakfast and waited an hour to be served and it wasn't that busy. One woman totally ignored her so much so that other guests stepped in. I would say that was completely different to my own experience a few hours earlier. The prior evenings meal the waiter could t do enough to help

Central and easily walkable to the beaches. Summerleaze being the nearest and then Crooklets about a 15 minute walk away.
I booked a single room but had a double bed, nice touch.
Clean serviced rooms and a great shower.
Fabulous breakfast and a great selection of hot and cold food.
I ate with family in the bar and grill but as it was busy we were in the back room. The room itself felt like a forgotten space. It wasn’t as nice as the main bar area and we tended to get forgotten about for service.
Also the room was exceeded hot, even with the window open. The fan helped so thank you, by I could never turn it off for long enough.
The location was perfect, within 5 minutes walk to the beach and the food was fabulous.
The room overlooked the outside bar area which wasn’t mentioned when booking a sea view room. The room has been renovated but the furniture hadn’t which was a shame because this let the room down slightly.
Location was fantastic, very central.
Cooked breakfast was excellent. Staff were very attentive, we enjoyed the waitress that was singing to the background music!!
