Pros:

How breakfasts were organized. It may have been even more efficient if guests could make order for breakfast on the eve of the next day.
The room including the bathroom was of a decent size.

Cons:

I was struggling to have a cold shower in the morning. Only warm/hot water was available.

Perfect location, perfect facilities , perfect staff . The weather was good as well :-)

All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was perfect and the breakfast freshly cooked and very tasty. Me and my wife have stayed in countless hotels over the years but this place was as goo as any.

Great location, beautiful grounds, great people make up for a lackluster room.
Pros:

The lovely staff! Everyone was there to make the experience great. Love the little bar on the ground floor and the whole ground level is charming.

Cons:

The shower in room 14. The lack of space and the poor upkeep of the rooms/bathrooms.

Perfect stopover in a motorbike tour
Pros:

Excellent hotel, used as a stopver on a motorbike tour, off the road parking for the motorbike is ideal. Very friendly staff, comfortable room and an excellent breakfast.

Pros:

A lovely building and excellent location. A taste of an elegant past. Staff friendly and helpful. Spacious rooms with views over the garden from lovely old floor to ceiling windows. Very good breakfast. We had a peaceful visit.

Cons:

Some of the furnishings and fittings are a little tired. But everything was clean and worked well so that didn't bother us at all.

Peaceful, welcoming, tranquil!
Pros:

Natalie was so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for her. The food was excellent and the breakfast being included was perfect. The room was lovely, as were the lounges and gardens. A really pleasant atmosphere to the whole place!

Cons:

The bathroom was a bit tired, and the shower over the bath went extremely cold and remained so. Not unexpected for the age of the place.
