the staff were lovely so friendly, they carried our luggage for us because I could not cope with stairs, nothing was to much trouble, they were so helpful. room was clean and comfortable, we had a lovely stay, would highly recommend them. l booked the room for my father and partner, this is what their experience was .

Cleanliness
The location (close to Cadwell Park race track) and large free car park directly outside were good. The bedroom was a bit dated but clean.
The bathroom wasn’t very clean. The shower only had 8 jets working and alternated between freezing and scalding. The water ran out from under the shower door soaking the floor. We spoke to reception who said ‘you know what the plumbings like in these old buildings. I don’t really have any clout around here so put your comments online’ which wasn’t a great response to get.
We liked the staff was friendly and room was spacious family room, there was a garden and bar room was comfortable would revisit

Spacious rooms which were clean.
We had 2 rooms as there was 7 of us.
Both rooms the beds were comfy, loved the white bedding, all towels etc.

Superb bay window room. Comfortable bed. Spacious room with comfortable chairs. Good LIGHTING, so many hotel rooms have inadequate illumination.
Shame not to have breakfast on site. Fortunately, adequate cafe nearby.
Easy to find, plenty of shops, restaurants within walking distance. Dog friendly.

No one available at check out, you just leave your keys at Reception. It felt impersonal.

The room, parking, the location.
Tv wasn't working for 2 days. Tv swapped on 3rd day. The room servicing card had fallen behind the coffee sideboard, we didn't find it until the 3rd day so the room wasn't serviced while we were there.

Tv didn't work for two days.it was replaced on the third day. The room wasn't serviced. I didn't find the 'please service the room' sign until the third day. I found it behind the table that had the coffee tray on it.
