Central location and very clean. Breakfast was brilliant.
Poor layout in the bedroom meant we could not see the TV clearly.
Lovely room and breakfast was very nice , location very good
We know the hotel and it was as expected, staff were excellent, food and drink very good
Our room was extremely hot, it should have been aired for several hours prior to our arrival
Everything was great. Staff, food, helpfulness
Dinner bookings finished very early. We tried to get a table at 8:10 on Sunday and were told the kitchen was closed. We should have read the in room information however it does seem very early to shut a hotel kitchen. Luckily there was a very nice Thai across the road.
Beautiful room and bathroom. Fluffy towels and robes.
All good
Fabulous room 226
Breakfast was great, but the wait was painful and rather prompt at clearing the continental table away. Basically, informing half an hour before service finished.
Sash windows that you can’t open properly- on the 3rd floor in warm weather and the room was baking hot despite the Dyson air circulator - Farmers market of some sort we’re setting up stalls outside at the crack of dawn when we had already hardly slept a wink
Historic property but beautifully renovated with comfortable accommodation and lots of space
The food was average - pub food rather than restaurant
Lovely bar area outside, great breakfast, friendly staff.
The stairs! We weren’t warned and are getting on a bit so found them difficult. Also four poster bed very high and difficult to get on, especially in the middle of the night.
Comfortable room, enjoyed the restaurant and the staff were friendly and helpful
