Thet defrauded me out of hundreds of pounds of my money
I was told it was £21 a night and I paid for a week and I paid one night for a homeless man and then tbe staff made malicious false allegations about me amd asked me to leave and have not refunded my money trying to make me homeless .
Pure evil amd also some of my property was stolen amd damaged

Weird bed position, hard to get around to the other side of double bed.
Bathroom was dirty and only had a bath. The ceiling started leaking and was dripping into the bath.
No other amenities in room apart from fan.

None

Windows are blocked out due to renovations and unable to open windows so lack of fresh air and stuffy.
The hotel does NOT look like the photos, hotel is old, under refurbishment as well as hotel next door undergoing renovations so rubbish and dusty and scaffolding everywhere, this was not advertised.

The bed is like a camping bed with a cheap thin mattress. No water, drinks, fridge etc...in room.

The dining room is terrible and breakfast overpriced, so we had to go to cafes in the area for decent food.
Bar and Pool room is old and looks like a backpackers area.

Noisy at night with guests in&out all hours. We were woken by bagging doors at 3am and people from nearby Gay nightclub in and out of the hotel. [We were advised that there had been a 'Pride' week a few weeks ago but clearly still going on, with flags still flying everywhere]
There are also many youths on the street outside all hours due to location near the pier which was also loud and police sirens frequently heard.
Disturbed sleep so went outside for cigarette, with only smoking area at the front, with only seat being the bus stop which was intimidating and dodgy.
Coffee machines in lobby, took money without a coffee and drink machine did the same thing, so facilities are not reliable or convenient.
Check-in is basically online and if you use front counter, staff use same long process. Other international travellers questioned the privacy of this practice.

En primer lugar me toco un momento de remodelación, por lo que el frente del edificio estaba todo tapiado y era bastante incomodo el ingreso y encontrarlo, entiendo que es algo momentáneo de todos modos.
Son muy estrictos con el horario de check in, siendo un hostel, que hay gente que entra y sale permanentemente deberían ser mas flexibles, estuve una hora esperando para poder ingresar a la habitación.
Yo estuve un fin de semana y me informaron que iba a haber musica en vivo en el bar, y cuando fui no encontré ningún espectáculo, el bar esta bueno pero no se lo ve muy activo y entiendo que la misma gente que esta en la recepción atiende el bar, nunca lo vi con gente.

Es gab keine Dusche, lediglich eine freistehende Badewanne. Das Bad war sehr modern, das Zimmer einfach gehalten.

We had no tea or coffee facilities in the room,or bed side tables

Pictures of the hotel we booked bore no resemblance to what met us upon arrival! The building was shrouded in scaffolding & blue cloth. We should have been notified in plenty of time that the building was going to be in such a state so that we could find an alternative! The interior was in a poor state of repair too. The lift seemed extremely worn-out and shook excessively causing some concern.
Once in our room, all windows were covered in opaque film (for privacy, apparently) which made the whole area oppressive & dull... the windows only opened a tiny amount too which made the matter worse plus the only lighting in the room was the extremely bright ceiling lights so it was either dull & dark or overpoweringly bright, nothing in between! Also, the room had a strong odour of fresh paint. There was no kettle or tea-making facilities in the room (not mentioned but expected these days, surely?). The only furniture in the room was the bed & two small leather pouffes. Breakfast was questionable, to say the least. All this at a premium price too.... not a budget hostel as it should be priced.

Breakfast was poor, hot selection seemed like it hadn't been topped up with hardly any choice of food. Helpful to have known check in policy (ID) beforehand for more prep. Bar not staffed with no interest from staff. Rooms warm even with windows open. Would have been nice to have some sort of table / chair / TV but appreciate the fact it's a hostel

It’s a hostel not a hotel ! Should have been clearer when booking .

Ein wenig ausgestattetes Zimmer, klein und mit wenig Tageslicht durch ein zugeklebtes Hinterhoffenster. Weit und breit keine oder nur sehr teure Parkplätze. Für 2Nächte über 200Euro sind nicht akzeptabel.
