Location is unbeatable, you have everything you might need in the room, stuff is friendly. Will return next time.
All is good.
We had a large room on the first floor with microwave fridge kettle and toaster
Nothing
The rooms are spacious, have everything you need for a quick bite and breakfast. The room was clean and the bathroom was nice, the shower had good water pressure.
From our window we could see all the rubbish.
The room itself was ok
The access to the room was very difficult. 5 flights of steep stairs. I had to stop and gasp for breath 3 times when ascending the stairs. Because of this I only went upstairs once per day. The room was very hot because heat rises to top floor.
The property is in a fabulous location and is clearly fairly new as renovations are still underway
Please please check what room you are in prior to booking
there are 3 attic rooms which are up 3 flights of steep steps which we didn’t realise
When we arrived we had unknowingly booked one of the attic rooms which is at the top of 3 flights of stairs
the room was ok but not anything special
We contacted the owner who was very helpful and allowed us to move into another room on the 1st floor for one night, this room was large and much nicer with only a few steps to climb
The owners were helpful but I wouldn’t book an attic room again
the property is under renovation but is in a prime location
Location , price , friendly staff
Parking can be expensive close to the location
Good central location
Quite a few stairs
Very quirky loved the room
Very hot at night
Large room and ideally located
Clean, professional and great location. Plus a Neros across the road
There was no air con and it was to hot in the room sadly
Central location. Elegant building with high ceilings and excellent kitchen area with tea and coffee, biscuits, milk and granola provided. Nice balcony overlooking the Promenade.
As it was hot weather, we had to have the window open on the Friday night and it was rather noisy with people shouting outside sometimes throughout the night.
Only one roll of toilet paper provided, two Bath towels, two bath mats, but only one hand towel. I suppose this was a mistake.
Lovely room
Great location
Nothing
Great location
We were disappointed with our recent stay at the hotel. As our room was located on the top floor, we had to carry our luggage up several flights of stairs, which was particularly difficult and inconvenient.
Unfortunately, we stayed during a period of very hot weather, and the room was unbearably warm. There was no air conditioning available, only a fan that seemed to circulate the hot air rather than cool the room down. As a result, the room felt extremely hot, stuffy, and uncomfortable.
The conditions made it very difficult to sleep. We had no choice but to keep the window open throughout the night to try to get some fresh air, but this meant we were disturbed by significant noise from outside. Consequently, we had a very poor night's sleep and were extremely upset by the experience.
For us, staying away is a rare treat and an opportunity to relax and recharge. Sadly, due to the discomfort and lack of sleep, our stay did not provide the restful break we had been looking forward to.
Location is very good, kitchen area was a bonus, nice free museli, tons of tea, coffee and milk.
Very enjoyable stay
Quite a few stairs as I was top floor, not an issue for me but just to note
