We would definitely stay again...but bring our own soap!
Pros:

The overall ambience of the room, location, the decor, the solitude. The distance to entertainment, restaurants, and outdoor activities was great! Not too close, so you had quiet when you needed it, but close enough where if we wanted to catch a live band or grab a bite to eat, there was no issue doing so!

Cons:

The bed wasn't the most comfortable for my husband, unfortunately, even when adding pillows under his back. And, the ONE time we didn't bring our own soap was the ONE time that we should have, as the sample they provided and the soap bars in the bathroom were not adequate or of good quality, based on the price we paid.

This was one of the most peaceful places I have stayed in the US.
Pros:

I absolutely adore this place! From the folks at check-in to the room to the widow's walk to the location, it's perfect. It's close to restaurants and shopping. It is a boutique hotel so you have that unique crafted feel, but without the attitude or price. But there IS a notice everywhere that states 'QUIET TIME 10 PM' which I am here for it! All rooms are exterior, but face inward in a U shape. The rooms are well appointed, large, clean and ADA compliant with full size refrigerators, pots/pans and a full complement of dishes, this is a dream stay for a great price. There is also the added benefit of having a built-in collapsible, magnifying makeup mirror in the bathroom and if you are in the 6' tall and over category, you're going to LOVE these super tall showers! But they are still accommodating to those who are shorter very comfortably and with an added bench seat. A pool on site and convenient parking, a restaurant within walking distance and an elevator makes things easy. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family!

Cons:

My 2 disappoints; there was only one light, it was motion detection, and it was only at my door so, I had to navigate in the VERY long, dark hallway with my phone flashlight from the elevator/my room around corners where I had no light. The 2nd was I had a dirty cup in the cabinet. Otherwise, I loved it! I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family!

Dissapointed after many years of going here .Still a nice , clean place with a mgr who wants to help

Room was great. Clean. The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The pool area needed weeded and the corners of the walls around it were full of debris and leaves. The chairs were not cleaned. Pool was clean and water was perfect just the over all grounds needed attention. We have stayed here for years and checked in on a Sunday and we were the only car in lot for 3 days and it was weird and it is under new ownership and was told it was now an air b and b model now Mon thru thursday with no one on property after 9 pm and we were never told this and was very creepy. Manager assured us that we were safe and monitored 24-7. They said full house on weekends with full staff 24 7.

Great location but extremely overpriced
Pros:

Location, cleanliness and staff were great. The safety and area was also great. The hotel style for the location is cute and coastal. Easy check in and out.

Cons:

The price I paid for this room was outrageous for what it was! Hotel check in is way too late in the day and check out is way too early and especially for the price. There are some little cosmetic interior building fixes that should be addressed. Examples, elevator paint chipping, art in the room held up with masking tape, pictures hung crooked. The bathroom shower fixture was the most confusing thing I ever seen. Why so many shower heads and oddly angled? I think there was five. Also with a very strange way of turning everything on. The water temperature is set to lukewarm at best. I get that you don’t want people to get burnt but room temperature water out of your shower is not desirable. The extra sofa bed had no sheets provided for it in the room. The garage disposal in the suite didn’t work at all. The toilet handle had to be held down for a long spell in order for enough water to fill and actually flush. Then the tank itself had an issue with the inside assembly to actually fill up again. We had to take the lid off and jiggle it to get it to properly fill. The soap that is provided in the shower and sink is horrible, it doesn’t lather and smells bad. Even if it had been good it’s at best like a tablespoon size that is provided. I certainly hope the hotel is at least paying their friendly staff well with all the cost cutting of conveniences passed on the guests.
