Lovely
Pros:

Lovely staff. Great room - very clean and bed comfortable. Good Dinner and Breakfast. Unfortunately I couldn't get a Wi-Fi but my Husband did.

Cons:

Could have done with the postcode for the car park before we travelled. Drove round 5 times looking for it! Once U went in and spoke to someone and he gave me it, fantastic!

Disappointed
Pros:

Location

Cons:

Carpark difficult to find. Bed was awful.
Room needs deep clean.
Breakfast was cooked food. No cereal. If you want speciality coffee you have to pay more even if you only want egg on toast.

A memorable breakfast!
Pros:

The room was very clean and I loved the fact that proper size bath sheets were provided. The breakfast was exceptional to the point I am still thinking about it 4 days later! The bacon was superb.

Cons:

The stairs approaching the rooms is threadbare and doesn’t provide a very good first impression. And the parking. This was very difficult to find and was already full by late afternoon on a Sunday. The alternative was paid for parking a 10 minute walk away. (Although it is free on a Sunday we needed to pay from 8am on Monday morning)

Lovely hotel for a short stay on Oakham.
Pros:

Quaint old property. Center of town. Nice decor & layout. Rooms comfortable. Good breakfast & service.

Cons:

After hours access into hotel. Got no warning doors are locked at a certain hour. We stayed out till 12am one night & 11.30 another night, got back to find front door locked. Couldn’t make a call as phone battery had died!!!
Lucky we saw someone still inside cleaning up & they let us in.
Pillows are lumpy. Maybe need to upgrade.

Lovely stay, would definitely return….
Pros:

Lovely 2 night stay, small but cosy room… everything that we needed including a fan as it was a really hot time. Breakfast was excellent, good choice and great quality. Friendly and helpful staff….

Cons:

Even though the room was cosy and clean, it could maybe do with a lick of paint especially on the skirting board which was quite badly stained and marked. There was also quite a large stain on the bedroom carpet that needs attention….

Pros:

The room was compact, but it had everything that was needed. Ideal for a short stay.
Lovely large shower.
Excellent location right in the town.
The breakfast choice was excellent for the price we paid.
Staff very friendly.

Cons:

We didn't realise there was a room above until we heard lots of creaking floorboards from people walking about the room.
Unfortunately, they woke very early in the morning!
