Good brekky, nice location, nice quirky room
Usual hotel gripe - the shower head nipples need a lime scale removal - this never seems to get done anywhere - why?
Annexe stair carpet needs replacing!
Central location in Oakham
Decor a bit tired.
Staff are very helpful & efficient
2nd time i have mentioned this & if this is the only fault I have not that bad, you need to put blinds up on the windows in the 1st floor across the car park just to light in the summer, velux sell them 😉
It was a perfect location for the weekend, the staff were very nice and freindly we enjoyed our stay.
The location was perfect for our needs.
The location perfect for us. Breakfast was brilliant. An old pub with character and parking to the rear of the property.
The only issue was the blind was broken which meant no prevention of light coming through the window once it was daylight, they were waiting for someone to sort it.
Parking location food
Windows in our room wouldn’t stay open blind was rubbish and no fans in the hot weather
All good
Nothing
Location was ideal, breakfast was very enjoyable.
Staff although polite seemed distracted, the breakfast was exceptional but took rather a long time nearly an hour
Excellent sized room and ensuite. Sat in the beer garden inthe evening, good to see the locals coming in for drinks and food. The pizza wd shared was very good. Excellent breakfast. Great value for money.

Breakfast excellent, location couldn’t be better
Change the mind bending background music.
Better with none.
Excellent breakfast: all cooked to order, generous plates, and a good variety of choices.
Our room smelled a little damp: there were no windows which we could open .
Great character traditional, good ensuite, great breakfast options
Finding the car park is like going on a treasure hunt, and its small, carpet on hallway to our room very worn
