The staff in the restaurant...two young women were fabulous and a credit to your hotel.
I understand that it is being upgraded but felt the dog friendly room was a little basic with regards the bathroom .

Beautiful old hotel that has had some pretty interesting history. Our room was a little dated but we booked through booking.com and weren't looking for a fancy room. The continental breakfast is fabulous! The hotel had a place to store our bicycles overnight. We had a wonderful stay here.

The lift had failed but I was informed by the hotel before arriving. They provided porterage for my luggage so not a real problem.
