The hotel needs a lot of work. Its very old and is falling apart. In desperate need of a major refit
Rooms are clean, quiet and very well proportioned with a modern well equipped ensuite. Breakfast is well organised with a good range of freshly cooked and continental options. Location is excellent for city centre and beach with good secure parking.
Hotel wi-fi would not allow internet access in the evening of my stay but this had corrected itself by the morning. The room was too cool for me and after following the instructions on the temperature panel, the room still would not warm up.
Most of all five guys was close.
The bed was so uncomfortable, prison beds are much more comfier. They then moved us to another room. Again another uncomfortable bed. I definitely won’t be going back. For the money you spend it’s really not worth it.
The restaurant was another joke, waited 1hr hour and a half, then they bring out mains instead of starters lmao.

Es ist etwas merkwürdig, dass sich ein Deluxe-Zimmer im Erdgeschoss befindet und nicht in einem der oberen Stockwerke mit einer schöneren Aussicht. Von einem Deluxe-Zimmer hätten wir etwas anderes erwartet.
Leider war auch der Empfang am Anreisetag enttäuschend. Die Dame an der Rezeption hat uns nicht besonders freundlich empfangen. Statt uns mit einem Lächeln zu begrüssen, wirkte sie unfreundlich, verzog das Gesicht und antwortete teilweise sogar aggressiv.
Meiner Meinung nach sollte gerade das Personal an der Rezeption grossen Wert auf Freundlichkeit, Höflichkeit und einen respektvollen Umgang mit den Gästen legen. Schliesslich ist der Empfang der erste Eindruck, den man von einem Hotel bekommt. Leider war dieser in unserem Fall alles andere als positiv.

Loved the staff and had a few problems in which they sorted very well.
Bed very very uncomfortable room dated and need a upgrade.
The hotel is very conveniently located and the staff are friendly. The room was spacious and good selection at breakfast.
The cleanliness could have been a bit better and it would have been great if the kids swimming hours would have been enforced by the staff. Each day we went to the pool kids were allowed to remain in the pool after the hours published, which is why we went during these specific hours.
I was also enrolled to their loyalty program, without my consent, which took quite a few emails to get resolved, but thankfully the team has now deleted my account.

The foyer by the door getting in where there are chairs for smokers 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮.
The reception the Indian lady super rude and puffy attitude.
Restaurant goodness me. It’s so dirty. They don’t clean the tables well after other guests. There is actually a very bad smell in the restaurant.
In rooms the carpet is dirty and smelly. We stayed in the 7th floor. Even cleaning of rooms. Hair clogging room 717. We asked for conditioner in room 715. For my entire stay they did not fix it. Oh my word. They are so dirty. Mind you I was coming from Bali the service came from high to trenches.
No maaaaan!
