Apart from breakfast and bar staff it was great
Pros:

Room was great

Cons:

Breakfast was always cold food not kept topped up when you ordered scrambled eggs they took ages to do it when they remembered coffee machine was broken bar staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing.

Disappointed
Pros:

The room was ok but I thought the decor strange and on 1 occasion 2 of us in the room and we got 1 hand towel ! The breakfast although plenty os staff with trays was very very slow , had to wait along time for omelette and at first nobody to ask as chef said had to ask waitress if you saw one .
The first evening we had dinner had to wait for pre dinner drink and wine
The Sunday we had dinner my husband asked for a medium to rare steak and he felt it was overcooked .

Cons:

Enjoyable but some disappointed issues
Pros:

Comfortable and the room temperature was perfect during this heat wave!
Pros:

During one of the hottest periods, the room temperature was perfect. The Air-con kept the room at a comfortable level. Whilst the balcony offered the option to step into the sun.

The bed was comfortable, the toiletries were high quality and they gym / spa were good for a hotel of this size and cost.

We did not book breakfast as we were not sure if we were going to need. But when we decided to have breakfast, this was not a problem.

Cons:

My only criticism is that there is only one lift. I would have been happy to use the stairs to get to the second floor instead of waiting for a lift which was often quite full after it turned up because the one lift was the only option for the whole hotel guests.

There was a set of stairs, but this was not accessible (during my stay anyway) as the key fob didn’t open it and it appeared to be reserved as a fire exit.
