good place to crash after tea an all day and night wedding in the Wylam Brewery on the toon moor.
Pros:

breakfast was good. Staff were very friendly. Nice, small, quiet hotel on Osborne Road, which is close to city centre and the other attractions of Jesmond. Room was OK - we got two single beds, rather than a double, but at least we had comfortable mattresses.

Cons:

we could have been told in advance that we were getting a twin room rather than double beds. no air con, but it wasn't too hot on saturday night/sunday morning.

Pros:

Close to Newcastle city. Walking distance approx 15 minutes. There is a metro station which is approx 5 minutes walk and 2 stops away. Bus stop out the front if you want to use the buses. Room was a good size and staff super friendly. Breakfast was good, but not buffet style, it's all freshly cooked to order.
Lots of places to eat/drink around the hotel.
Great stay. Thanks team.

Cons:

It was a little noisy due to being on a fairly busy road, but not a major issue. Being an older property, there's a bit of creaking, but it does add to the ambience of the place.

Friendly hotel in good location.
Pros:

Lovely clean hotel with really friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. Location is great not central but easy access to public transport.

Cons:

Noisy on the street until late into the night but this was a Saturday night and this isn’t the hotel’s fault. I’m being picky but the free toiletries offered were poor.

Great location but dated facilities.
Pros:

Fantastic location and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

There was an excessive amount of noise in and around the hotel - inside there were loud guests and the walls are very thin so you hear everyone. Outside and on the street there were screaming seagulls, an arrest happening, a megaphone guiding a running race and industrial bins being emptied.
