Very nice hotel but the room was disappointing in a decent amount of ways.
Pros:

The hotel staff was very friendly and the room was clean.

Cons:

The water in the shower leaked out all over the floor while showering. Lights for the bathroom light up the whole room in the middle of the night/morning--An open wall between the bathroom and bed doesn't seem ideal. Coffee outlet didn't work. No microwave. A.C unit made noises. The street was very loud overnight.

Best hotel and should be a 5 stars
Pros:

Unmatched 7-Night Stay – The Absolute Best in Louisville!
We stay in many hotels, but our 7-night stay at the Aloft Downtown Louisville was next to none. I couldn’t have said anything bad even if I wanted to. From check-in to check-out and everything in between, the experience was absolutely flawless.
The hotel was incredibly clean, and the service was unmatched. As a major bonus, they are completely pet-friendly, and they serve the absolute best coffee to kickstart your day! Every single department blew us away. The bar staff, the restaurant team, and the cleaning crew were all amazing, friendly, and attentive.
I wouldn't do this incredible staff justice if I didn't mention some of them by name. Huge, heartfelt thanks to Ryan, Bevin, Charon, Kati, and Oliver for making our week so special!
Whether you are traveling to Louisville with your furry friend, staying for a vacation, or just driving through, I highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back!

Nice hotel with great location but pricey.
Pros:

Great hotel. Style, location and room was comfortable with a very nice bed. And the standard 12:00 noon checkout!

Cons:

No microwave in room and no complimentary coffee in lobby throughout the day. Price- $100 more per night than other months simply because it’s Derby week. I call that price gauging. 😡
