Loved that it was an Adult only Hotel.

A very comfortable stay. All the staff we very well trained, very polite and always helpful. We had an excellent breakfast with many choices. Our bedroom was rather too hot, but the country was having a heat wave, so temperatures everywhere were exceptionally high. We really enjoyed the swimming pool.
The equal of top hotels we have stayed at around the world. Not just best in Southwest, but best in U.K.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at The Belmont in Sidmouth. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully presented. The modern bathroom was spotless, and we appreciated that the room was serviced daily upon request. The TV was excellent, and it was great being able to relax and enjoy the World Cup matches during our stay.
The staff were all kind, friendly, and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with plenty of choice, and the hotel’s location directly opposite the beach was perfect for exploring Sidmouth. The parking facilities were also excellent and very convenient.
A particular highlight was access to the spa at the Victoria Hotel, The Belmont’s sister hotel. My wife and I had a fantastic massage experience there. Our masseuse, Sadie, provided exceptional service and gave us some very helpful advice regarding our health and wellbeing. It was a truly relaxing and memorable experience.
Overall, The Belmont is a stunning hotel, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Sidmouth. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily return in the future.
Very little to dislike during our stay. If I had one suggestion, it would be that breakfast could perhaps be offered as a buffet, especially considering the price. The cooked breakfast was enjoyable and of good quality, but a buffet with a wider selection and the option to help yourself would have added even more value. Other than that, everything was excellent.

The service and food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our breakfasts were superb, very fresh and hot. The room was comfortable and refreshed each day.
Unfortunately the guests were very old and it felt a little like a care home. This is not a negative comment on the hotel, but reflects the resort in general.
