It was an adventure we will not repeat.
Pros:

The (fill-in) hostess helped arrange a cab to collect us from the ferry and get us to the base of the cottages. The hike up to the room was challenging, but we were warned. The view was amazing! We had a lovely sitting area outside our cottage to take in the view - AMAZING! We walked to/from restaurants and bars in town, definitely earning our food and drink in the process. The surrounding neighborhood is residential, and I felt safe walking solo (as long as you are mindful of oncoming traffic). There was an "Honesty Bar" that provided water, beer, wine, and small snacks. The cottages are very peaceful and quiet.

Cons:

Upon arrival, the pool was green, unskimmed, and not circulating water. They explained they were waiting for a replacement part. The (fill-in) hostess brushed it off and said we would be fine to swim in it; other people had been! We witnessed this once when another couple jumped into floats for about 2 minutes and immediately got out... no one put their head under water. A heads-up before arrival would have been nice, as the pool photos were a main selling point.
We were advised that we had to manipulate our cottage's toilet (turning the water on and off between uses). Eventually, we just started walking to the "lobby" toilet near the Honesty Bar.
My husband was bitten about 100 times by fire ants while we were using our sitting area. He was sick and vomiting the next day, canceling our hiking plans. So watch your step.

Pros:

De locatie mooi in de natuur, je bent een met de omgeving

Cons:

De accommodatie heeft zeker zijn charme, maar op het gebied van onderhoud en netheid zijn er nog wel enkele verbeterpunten.
Bij aankomst viel ons op dat de accommodatie niet overal even schoon was. Doordat veel zich in de buitenlucht bevindt, zijn verschillende houten onderdelen aangetast door vocht en schimmel.

Ook de buitenkeuken kan wat extra aandacht gebruiken. Het gasfornuis is behoorlijk verroest, waardoor wij ervoor hebben gekozen dit niet te gebruiken. Daarnaast zouden de potten en pannen een onderhoudsbeurt of vervanging kunnen gebruiken.
Rondom de accommodatie staan diverse spullen die niet direct een functie lijken te hebben, waardoor het geheel wat rommelig oogt. Tot slot had de klamboe meerdere gaten, waardoor deze helaas niet meer goed zijn functie vervult.

Met wat extra aandacht voor schoonmaak, onderhoud en het opruimen van de omgeving kan deze accommodatie aanzienlijk aan uitstraling en comfort winnen.

Geweldige locatie, terug naar de `basics`maar heel erg leuk, wat heb je nodig! aardige eigenaren en heel behulpzaam. Prachtig uitzicht en midden in de natuur met kikkertjes en hagedisjes, top wat een mooi eiland

Prima verblijf!
Pros:

Super behulpzame en vriendelijke eigenaren, elke dag een heerlijk ontbijt genuttigd, een prachtig uitzicht vanaf het zwembad dek.
The cottage zelf was schoon en fijn, blij met de klamboe. Mooie locatie, dichtbij de mount scenery. Wel serieuze klim vanuit windwardside en daarna de trappen op maar dat wisten we van te voren, waren we over geïnformeerd en was prima. Je doucht "in de natuur", in een aparte cabin met openslaande raampjes, prachtig uitzicht.

Cons:

Het ziet er niet zo uit als op de foto's, er is wat behoefte aan onderhoud.
En we moesten ook wel even wennen aan back to basic, je moet niet bang zijn voor insecten. De nachten waren erg warm in juni, de kleine fan bracht niet veel verlichting. We durfden de ramen niet open te zetten aangezien er geen horren voor zitten en ik niet zat te wachten op spinnen. Op verzoek een extra fan gekregen, dat hielp! 's nachts naar de WC is wel een dingetje, de WC zit bij de douche, je moet uit de cottage om daar gebruik van te kunnen maken.

Even terug naar 'basic', heerlijk verblijf met een prachtig uitzicht en alles prima aan te lopen.
Pros:

Supervriendelijke en enthousiaste hosts. Prachtig uitzicht op de berg en de zee. De winkels en restaurants zijn op loopafstand, hoewel je terug wel een stevige klim moet maken. De cottages zijn primitief, maar dit was zeker geen verrassing. Bijzonder aangenaam verblijf en prima ontbijt. Leuke mensen gesproken ;-)

Superbes bungalows sauvages
Pros:

Superbe emplacement dans la jungle, sans vis à vis avec les autres bungalows. Salle de bain extérieure agréable. Personnel très sympathique, ambiance conviviale.
