It was grand, clean, friendly staff and amazing location

The only thing worth praising about this hotel is the reception staff.
The room itself wasn't too bad either (though not for a 5-star hotel). I booked a King Room, but it barely measured up to a Standard Room at a 4-star hotel

I am deeply disappointed with many aspects of this hotel.
First, when you walk into the lobby, there's an unpleasant smell that doesn't belong in a hotel of this caliber.
At first I didn't understand why such a huge hotel was so empty, but it soon became obvious.
I tried going to the Chinese restaurant, where initially there was no one around. We waited several minutes and no one came to serve us. Only after I complained at reception did they call someone, after which a girl appeared and tried to serve us. Communication with her was difficult, and in the end we didn't even feel comfortable ordering anything.
We went downstairs to another restaurant, where we were served by a young guy who was apparently working his first day and wasn't prepared for the job. I'd rate the service in that restaurant a 2 out of 10. In short — very poor service. I thought maybe the food would make up for the bad service. But the food was even more disappointing. I can't remember the last time I was so let down by a meal. I'd rate any street fast food much higher, let alone a mid-range restaurant.
I was also very unhappy with the staff (except for reception). We were the only ones in the restaurant, and while we waited for our meal, a bunch of staff members kept walking in, talking loudly on their phones right in front of us and going about their own business. Then a few female employees came in and started loudly discussing something, and one of them — standing right in front of us while we were eating — began squeezing her pimples. It was a horrifying sight.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious, the view was beautiful, and the bathroom was spotless. Everything was comfortable and well maintained.
The breakfast was very good with plenty of options, and the team was kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.
The location is perfect if you are traveling by car, with plenty of parking available. We also loved that it is away from the crowded areas, offering a more peaceful atmosphere while still being close to the lake.
A few small improvements could make the experience even better. It would be helpful if the hotel updated the offers and menus available in the rooms, as we tried to order from one of them and were later informed that it was no longer valid.
It would also be great if guests were informed during check-in that swimming caps are mandatory for using the pool, so they can come prepared before going there.
Additionally, serving coffee in reusable cups instead of single-use cups in the lobby would be a much nicer and more environmentally friendly touch.
The hotel was very beautiful and clean, with a unique Chinese-style design. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the view from the hotel was amazing since it is located on a hill. The rooms were comfortable, and overall it felt very relaxing.
