The motel was close by to the Satellite hotel where our other friends were at. The decor reminded me of something back in the 50's with the color scheme. I booked the family suite with 2 bedrooms & kitchenette, but didn't use most of it, only the coffee machine the next morning. This would've been helpful if it mentioned it had all the amenities in the suite, stove, microwave, refrigerator & could've brought more items to place in the refrigerator. But other than that it was very accommodating for the time that I was there with my other lady friend.
The downfall with this is that it had a bathroom with a 50's pink bathtub with shower, but it didn't have any grab bars to hold onto getting in & out of the tub for safety reasons.
We decided to stay another night and they were very accommodating. It’s off Gulf Blvd so quieter than most.
The location was good. Near everything. The retro feel took me back to when I was younger the tile and bathroom tub and sink were great!
We killed 2 small roaches in the bathroom. It’s Florida…. But might be time to spray???
The staff was amazing and attentive. The room was exceptionally clean. Would definitely stay again. Walking distance to the beach.

Proximity to beach & restaurants
Only thing I had an issue with was the plastic plates, dishes & cups - I understand why they have plastic but after a while they break down and have scratches which is not good for using with hot food.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were so clean we actually put our stuff in the drawers! They were always happy to bring clean towels, coffee pods, David, the manager, was always helpful and knew great info about the area. It was close to a lot of places and about a 15 minute walk from the boardwalk and beach.
Ok, the bed was very lightweight. Every time we went to sit on it, ( I am abt 160lbs) it would move at least 6 inches. It was common to have to move the bed a couple of feet daily so I could comfortably get out on my side. The mattress would also move on the bed if the bed didn't move. It wasn't a deal breaker, but it was constantly annoying.
I also wish the pool had been open later. Although I understood why, 7pm Sun-Thurs was awfully early when the surrounding pools were open till at least 9pm. Fri and Sat it was open till 9 and that was better.
