Le petit dej a 7h30 alors que le site archéologique ouvre a 7h00.
A great location, with free parking and very large sized rooms. Food was of a good quality and generous portions.
The AC was not that good in the rooms.
Room cleanliness could have been better.
Food Items that I ordered at dinner time were not prepared however these were not charged for.
The biggest issue I had, was this hotels apparent ‘policy’ to charge guests upon checking in, I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world and I’ve never experienced such a demand in my life, especially as I was planning to settle the entire bill upon check out as is the norm. I genuinely felt that I was treated as a 2nd class citizen and was not looked after or made to feel welcome especially by the reception staff. I have my suspicions as to why I was asked to pay at check in, however I’ll take this up with the hotel themselves. All guests should be valued and treated equally and unequivocally, this is definitely not the case for this hotel.

The grounds were very well kept.
This was a weird stay. We were the only people in this massive property, there was mouse poo in our room, the shower didn’t work, we did mention this and they were not able to fix it. We did washing here and 3x items came back stained or ruined, when we brought this up we were not offered a discount. A very dated venue which you can see has been lovely in its past, and the lobby is beautiful, just the rooms need some love.

The whole place was beautiful. The rooms the pool the public areas were great
Due to the unrest in certain parts of the world started by someone in the USA many flights were cancelled and through no fault of the hotel we were not able to enjoy the buffet/set meal as it would not have been viable to put on . Having some local meals on the ALa Carte would be great as we prefer local cuisine rather than international
