Excellent location with direct access to the lake. The team was very accommodating, especially the housekeeping and restaurant staff. It was genuinely lovely to see such friendly, smiling young people working so hard to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. A special thanks to Clara for her warm hospitality and kindness throughout my stay.

Cons:

There were no insect screens on the windows, so too many flies came into the room at night. The rooms were also very basic in terms of amenities, with essentially nothing provided apart from a hairdryer.

One of the older members of staff was quite unfriendly and rude, which negatively affected the experience.

Another issue was the hotel’s lake access. Non-hotel guests were regularly using the hotel’s ladder to enter and exit the lake, apparently because there was no ladder on the adjacent public side. As a result, many people were walking through the hotel guest area and around my sunbed and personal belongings to use the access. Nothing happened, of course, but it was still uncomfortable and created an unnecessary sense of concern about leaving personal belongings unattended.

Notre séjour était magique !

Un merveilleux petit hôtel à Weggis au bord du lac de Lucerne. Nous avons adoré notre séjour!

Le personnel est incroyablement sympathique, chaleureux et attentionné. On se sent rapidement comme à la maison.

Les chambres ont un cachet absolument incroyable avec beaucoup de charme. C’est le genre d’endroit qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable.

L’hôtel possède un petit restaurant avec une superbe terrasse extérieure directement au bord de l’eau, offrant une vue extraordinaire sur le lac et les montagnes. Il y a également une très belle terrasse avec des divans, parfaite pour prendre un verre et profiter pleinement de l’endroit.

Le petit déjeuner était excellent, avec beaucoup de choix et une très belle variété. Tout était frais et délicieux.

Une magnifique découverte que nous recommandons sans hésitation. Un endroit paisible, chaleureux et idéal pour profiter de la beauté de Weggis et du lac de Lucerne. Nous y retournerions avec grand plaisir! 🇨🇭❤️

Very kind and helpful staff. The lady at the reception gave us instructions on how to get to Rigi. The lake was amazing, had an incredible morning swim.

Ein Hotel, das Geschichten atmet

Cons:

Fan didn’t work and it was super hot. Many electrical outlets didn’t work. Sheets were dirty with other people’s hair which is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT and for sure weren’t replaced!!
HUGE amount of other people’s hair on the bathroom floor the minute we entered the room.
Told the receptionist that the fan didn’t work at check out and she told me- we’ll I guess that won’t help you but will the next guests. Very unpleasant
