L'endroit est juste magnifique, nous avions vue sur le lac , les lits sont très confortables, très bon petit déjeuner, emplacement idéal pour point de départ pour les visites.

Lage des Hotels sehr schön, fast am Wasser. Das Personal gibt sich sehr Mühe und ist freundlich. Das Frühstück ist mittelmäßig. Das Zimmer ist sauber.
Das Zimmer ist renovationsbedürftig. Die Möbel sind sehr alt. Betten ok. Gefährliche Schwelle im Badezimmer (nein, ich bin nicht uralt)
Perfecte ligging aan Meer en voet wandel gebied.

Le lieu est magnifique au bord du lac
La situation de notre chambre très petite et nuit infernale à cause du bar juste en dessous. Bruit jusqu’à 02 heures du matin sommes partis 1 jour avant à cause du bruit. Les tarifs de l’hôtel sont exagérés 1 dl vin 9.- fr….attendu 45 minutes pour un plat froid c’est quand même long
L hotel est situé au bord du lac. Il possede un restaurant / salle de dejeuner en terrasse sur le lac.
Quelques chaises longues sont proposées mais le seul accès a l eau est une petite échelle. Il y a une petite plage publique a distance de marche.
La chambre est spacieuse. Parking gratuit devant l hotel (places limitées)
La salle de bain est tres petite et non rénovée. Elle semblait propre mais il y avait de nombreuses traces de moisissure dans les joints de la douche.

Important to provide a constructive balance. Also, to note that we were there during the June 2026 European heatwave.
Positives:
Lake side position is arguably one of the best in Weggis. To maximise this ensure that you have a lake side view room, on a high floor with a balcony .
Staff are excellent, professional, friendly and customer focussed.
Restaurant provides very good quality food to satisfy most tastes, be it breakfast, lunch or evening .
The hotel terrace offers a spectacular place to dine.
The hotel is very clean, organised and and runs very efficiently.
There is free guest parking for 10 cars on a first come basis. We were fortunate to get a place on all 9 days of our stay.
Ideal position for the bus and boat services, and to the Rigi cable car.
To consider:
Like most hotels in Weggis it is not a new building therefore while having charm and a special Swiss appeal it does not have the refinements of a modern hotel. No air conditioning, which was a significant issue during the heatwave - hotel provided fans, but they don’t replace ac.
The furniture and fittings are in keeping with the environment and tastefully applied. The room was well appointed, the bed comfortable and towels and bedding were changed daily and the room well cleaned. Worth being aware that the room facilities are basic - No coffee making machine, no mini bar, limited toiletries ( bath and hand soap only), no bathrobes, no ironing/trouser press.
General tips:
Remember to get your ‘Day Visitors Pass’ from your hotel which provides local discounts- particularly good for boat, cable car tickets.
If driving, have Chf1 coins to pay for parking - some meters take card, but from our experience it is mainly coins.
Weggis church bells, like other Swiss towns and villages, ring out every 15-mins 24/7. While adding to the atmosphere of this lovely town some may find it disruptive to sleep.

La camera vista lago
La struttura necessita di una ristrutturazione generale, la nostra camera, junior suite, aveva le poltrone bucate, divano e pavimento in parquet macchiati, le tende pure in parte rotte.
Mobili in generale vecchi. Ci sono solo tende sottili, non oscuranti, niente tapparelle per cui al mattino molto presto entra il sole.
Peccato inoltre che la struttura non abbia l’aria condizionata per più confort nei giorni di afa estiva.

Das Hotel war nicht zu gross, ist wohl etwas ins Alter gekommen, hatte aber alles, was es brauchte. Klimaanlage und Safe wären allenfalls noch schöne zusätzliche Sachen.

sehr schöne Lage am See mit schattiger Terrasse. 2 Minuten zu Fuss zum Schiffsanleger. Schöne Uferpromenade. Lebensmittelgeschäft in der Nähe. Gefälliges Zimmer mit grossem Bad. Super guter und freundlicher Roomservice.
Gegenüber des Hotels ist eine Art Bistro wo es abends bzw. nachts etwas kauter werden kann. Im Zimmer hört man Schritte aufgrund des Holzfussbodens auch aus dem Flur und anderen Zimmern. Kleine Mängel im Bad (Farbe blättert ab).
The location and view from the rooms were great. The staff too, especially Peter from Slovakia working in the restaurant. All were very attentive to my friend needing gluten free bread.
The key was old-school and very heavy. Could be used for self protection.
