Bis auf den kleinen Ausrutscher, ein perfekter Aufenthalt und das Frühstück in einem eigenen Raum. Perfekt.
Pros:

Einfach alles ein komplett stimmiges Gesamtkonzept. Die Ausstattung war hervorragend und gut gepflegt. Das Frühstück ist im japanischen Stil und einzigartig bisher gewesen in einem eigenen Raum mit einem eigenen Kellner. Sowas ist schon richtig nett.

Cons:

Leider gab es eine Staubschicht im oberen Schrank Teil. Das dürfte nicht passieren bei dem Preis. Da war die Hausdame wohl körperlich zu klein, um dahin zu schauen.

Great location overlooking the sea but a little out of town so car very helpful

Cons:

All seemed a bit regimented, surprised to be told that we couldn’t dine in the hotel as fully booked, not usual for guests to be turned away. Everything seemed to be run on a time table set by hotel. Maybe our lack of understanding of how a Japanese resort hotel works? They did recommend a very good restaurant in town but couldn’t fix taxi so had to drive. Pool had not been cleaned and suspect little used as national guests all prefer the spar pool. They did organise trip to sand bath, a great experience . Breakfast was purely Japanese food and a challenge for Europeans

Excellent stay…a lovely view, very comfortable and with very helpful staff.
Pros:

The property is very well located a short taxi ride from the train station, with a very good view, the sound of the ocean in the room, nice onsen and access to the beach. We had an issue with our ferry booking to yakushima that the staff with real effort sorted for us and the staff generally were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

I couldnt find a walk forest adjacent to the property and there arent food options in walking distance.

Cons:

Niezbyt przyjemny zapach w pokoju (nie wiem czy z centralnej klimatyzacji czy kanalizacji).
Hotel jest dość stary i nieodnowiony.

潮騒の宿
Pros:

海岸の崖の上に建っており部屋からの眺望はすばらしい。
朝食は丁寧な和定食で、オプションに焼きたての海苔、薩摩汁などがあり、豊かな朝ごはんだった。
ホテルは築50年くらいらしいが、きれいにリノベートされていて、清潔・オシャレな印象。同時にところどころに、昭和のホテルの面影もあり、新しさと懐かしさが同居していて、楽しめた。

Cons:

こちら側の事情で、チェックアウトの日、早朝に出発せねばならなくなり、朝食をとれなくなった。事前にその事情をお話して、おにぎり、サンドイッチのような簡単なテイクアウトはできないかと相談したが、できないとのことだった。
ルーティンにないことだろうから、できなくても仕方がないとは理解しつつも、何か柔軟な対応をして頂けたらありがたかったなぁと思う。

とても気持ちよく過ごせた

ロビーでのコーヒーやデトックスウォーターのサービスがあり素敵なロケーションを眺めながらゆっくり寛げた。また友人と外で写真を撮ろうとしていたらそれに気づいたスタッフの方がわざわざ外に出てきて写真を撮って下さりとても感謝でした。

部屋も広くて清潔、部屋からは海が見える。
温泉もとても良い。

施設等何も問題なし。
温泉街中心から少し離れているので夕食を付けていない場合、温泉街中心に車で食べに行く事になるが、指宿温泉には代行サービスがあるのでアルコールを飲む人はそれを利用すると便利．(温泉街中心から約1500円ぐらい)
