Das Hotel liegt an der Ringstraße beim Schwarzenbergplatz. Top Lage. Straßenbahn vorm Haus, 3 Lokale im Haus. Pool am Dach von 7-21h geöffnet, Frühstück ebenso am Dach. Ganz tolles Buffet, Eierspeisen werden bis hin zu Egg Benedict serviert. 7-11h.
Die Zimmer haben einen ganz eigenen Stil. Wunderschön. 50er jahre mit modern vermischt. Nicht riesig, aber groß genug. Sehr sauber. Man muss daraufhin weisen, dass es kein Badezimmer gibt. Das ist im Raum komplett offen integriert.
Nur das WC ist extra.
Das Personal war ausnahmslos extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Da gab es überhaupt keinen Grund zu meckern.

Fabulous pool and appreciated the glasses of cold water brought around on a hot day. Enjoyed the coffee machine and fridge in the room. I was especially grateful for the early check-in, after arriving on the sleeper train. The decor was quirky and room a great size. I didnt use the minibar, but it was stocked.

Cons:

I wasnt informed at check-in that to turn any lights on in the room, I needed to activate a main swich. I went to reception and was duly told what to do, but still couldnt work it out. The manner of the receptionist was rather smug over my not being able to work it out, so I didnt bother asking for help again. I've never stayed anywhere where turning on a light has been a pain in the rear, and so...I had no lightening during the evening/night.

I am very disappointed with my experience at this hotel.

I was charged by the hotel for parking, but I also had to pay for the parking myself. This means I ended up paying twice for the same service, which is completely unacceptable.

I expected the hotel to provide clear information and handle this properly, but instead I was left with unnecessary costs and inconvenience. This experience significantly affected my stay and my trust in the hotel.

Unfortunately, because of this issue, I cannot recommend this hotel to others. I hope the management reviews its parking procedures and ensures that future guests are not charged twice.
