Easy acccess
Room smelled very musty upon arrival. Otherwise cleanliness was excellent.
The property is in a convenient spot. It is very original. Which is why I chose the place.
We arrived early and the could not do early check in. We left came back 15mins before check in and they said room was still not ready. We checked back in right at 4pm and then it was ready. There was something spilled on floor in room that was not cleaned up. It rained all day on one of the days, it started leaking in my room. I called down to tell the front desk and all they said was “do you want extra towels?” Not I’m sorry do you want to change rooms, no compensation, no concerns at all. The people next to us were smoking cigarettes and marijuana. Which I understand that is out of their control, but if they are going to let that be ok to do, they should list the place as a SMOKING facility.
We travel a lot for leisure purposes, we have stayed in a lot of hotels some good some bad. But this was the worst place I stayed in just for the staff that were VERY unprofessional.
We had a nice dinner in the resturant.
Room was spacious, staff were very friendly, decor was unique. The bar was great. Dog friendly. .
Price was steep for 1 night.
the room was not cleaned in the morning: I had to request the service for the following day!!!!
Thre is alace for parties on the gorund floor. I was in 230... the music was such that my bed was vibrating!!!
My room had a connecton door the room nextdoor (232); this door not beeing sound proof... I had the priviledge to hear he activities of the occupants next door (screaming, heating things.... for 45 minutes); I called the desl but no body answered. In other words I was deprived of sleep (I was coming from Europe with jetlag!!!)
The staff is nice, not very professonal, but they do what they can.
There is a lack of management capable to run the place smoothly!
Please employ competent people, even if you need to pay them at a decent level.... WE, your customers, pay at a decent level, don't we?

Fitting sheet in the bed it was flat come off all the time i set on . Dust in the bed frame and bathd floor it was no clean . I was to late at nithg wen i noties. Im clien t from this hotel for years. This ia the second time this happend . need atencion. I dont want to call at that time or change rooms i was there only for that nithg . Brestfast in the morning is not on point. Seating for 15 mint no body show up to take our order we leave with out breatfast . Waitresses it was. Pass by us she never ask us for a order. Very disappointed on that need to be at work early and she ia taking long time..i love you facilities . The rooms and the restorant food always been good . But this time it was rraly poor .

Hotel Nyack is a cute boutique hotel with a cool, relaxing vibe. The lobby is comfortable for chilling out with a glass of wine and a good book in between outings. Our room was clean and well stocked. This was our second stay while visiting family who live in town. The location was great as town was about a 4-5 minute drive. I'm sure we'll be back!
The $50 per night resort fee is annoying. Seriously, just raise the nightly rate a bit and build it in so I don't feel bamboozled when I check in.

I was very upset because people were complaint of noice coming through our room and the first time understood but the second time the room next door was bagging on the walls and me and my wife were whispering really need to do something about how thin the walls are there… it takes away the purpose of me getting a room cant even whisper really?
