Up all night
Pros:

The location and the size of the room are great. The bed was okay although it’s a spring mattress. The place was clean and the shower is a large size.

Cons:

The walls are paper thin and we heard our neighbor having loud sexual relations. There are no hand towels. The light for the toilet lights up the room so you use it in the dark at night or wake up your companion. The stairs are worse than you think they’ll be.

fine but could be better - Cheap and central but noise is a problem
Pros:

location was excellent (which does have its downside)
located right on one of the main walking streets, so easy to get anywhere.

Cons:

Room was extremely basic, no surfaces (table) to place items. Sound proofing is necessary in this hotel. you can hear eveything, from the other guests, or from outside.. do not expect to much sleep if you stay here.
Check in done online but instructions not totally clear - you still have to visit a hotel over the road to get your keycard even though it states on thier website that your entry password would be sent to you.

Pros:

The location of the property is excellent. It is situated right across the street when you exit the main terminal. The booking process was very convenient. If you are only planning to use the hotel as a place to sleep, I believe it will meet your needs. Our room was clean, and our towels were changed every day. Overall, it was a good choice that met my expectations.

Cons:

I wish there had been a small kettle and some cups in the room so we could have coffee in the morning.

Good location. Small apartment fairly clean, comfortable bed. Stairs are narrow and extremely steep. Room smelt of cigar

Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at CS Hotel Amsterdam. The location is simply unbeatable – practically in the city center and only a few minutes' walk from Amsterdam Central Station. It was the perfect base for exploring Amsterdam and taking day trips to other cities.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We especially liked having the toilet separated from the shower, which made the room more practical.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated being able to leave our luggage until the evening on our last day. This gave us the chance to enjoy a few more hours in Amsterdam without having to carry our bags around. There is also a very convenient luggage storage facility just across the street.

Despite being so close to the center, the hotel was quiet enough for a good night's sleep. Everything we needed was within walking distance – canals, restaurants, shops, and public transport.

Great value for money, excellent location, and a hassle-free experience. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Dissatisfaction and disappointment
Pros:

Not a lot, the location was fairly decent close to Amsterdam central and some key locations but that is all it has to offer

Cons:

The shower was broken, there was no soap and no shower gel despite advertising as such. The stairs were steep and dangerous, the front door kept slamming closed on us as we entered and left, the floor was dirty full of bits that cut my fiances foot. The bed was squeaky and also shook a lot, there was no other amenities to speak of and it was shocking.
