0-10 experience. I’ve put up with every inconvenience and scam they threw at me. Paid over a grand to stay 7 days.. a/c flooded the room completely multiple times and I had to fix the problems myself, had to request a shower curtain that never seemed to show up. Sleeping on the floor would be just as equivalent as sleeping in the bed, both sanitary and comfortable wise. A certain staff member seems to be a little under trained or confused.. not quite sure. MOST of the other staff are very friendly. Each level of the building has its own distinct smell.. none of which are pleasant. I would not recommend staying in this roach invested, overpriced scam artist asylum.

It looked clean until the roaches came out to greet you.

This was the worst place upon arriving, people who live there outside smoking and drinking in the parking lot at the entrance. The elevator didn't work properly and smelled. There was broken glass and trash on the steps. Our room 313, had roaches around the beds, in the bathroom and in the refrigerator. It had no blankets on the beds and the air conditioner started to have a burn smell in the room. we slept in our clothes. Due to us getting there late in the night, it was too late to find another hotel. There was nothing I liked about this place or locations. I had CANCELLED our stay for the next two nights and now will not be refunded my money because of their 48 hours policy to cancel. THIS WOODSPRING ON ALICIA AVE WAS HORRIBLE. BEWARE. NOT CLEAN AT ALL!!!

We had good expectations for this chain – as we stayed in this chain in Arizona. We arrived super late to hotel (bad storms and our flights were delayed). Was told the reservation system was closed so they could not check me in (id informed them we’d be a late check in – they didn’t care). it was storming & 300 AM – there were no hotels available (several sports tournaments – so hotels were booked) my minor child & I had to sleep in the car. NOT COOL!!!

But my 2 major issues:
- The room was filled with roaches – I made a comment to front desk – and all I got was “yes - there have been complaints on this”.. like really?
- My room door would not lock – I was told to do a lift handle up 2x push it down 2x – then it will lock – never done this before – but it did not work. Even the dead bolt once inside did not work. Went back to complain again – and was told yes - they knew this was an issue – I finally got them to get maintenance to look at door – and they were able to fix
Minor issues
- Hotel smells of pot
- Dog poop all over the grassy areas
- Door slamming
- Elevator on 3rd floor – you can only go up – before going down

Flew 12hrs to find out that this place was booked over capacity. No consideration from the front desk or answer when I attempted to call the ‘manager’.

New management is definitely on point and efficient. This is the best change for this spot. Everything is better
