We were looking for a budget friendly option for an extremely busy weekend in town. I found a great deal (almost seemed too good to be true!) on this motel and decided to take a chance on it. I was extremely satisfied considering the great deal we got on the room. Easy check in/check out, clean room, and the room looked just as shown in pictures. We had a cute little deck out the back of our first floor room and even had a view of the river! It’s not fancy, but it was a clean, safe space to land in between outings and fun in Seaside. Overall it was a great experience and we will absolutely look at booking here again, especially on a busy weekend.
quiet, clean, roomy
Close to downtown Seaside to walk to the restaurants and shops
Seaside was fantastic. The beaches, the hikes, Soccer in the Sand, the restaurants, everything. Except for dealing with the folks at Coast River Inn, we had an excellent trip.
The cleaning staff was nice and did their jobs very well.
After setting up the stay with booking.com I didn't expect any more payments. Upon arrival, I was informed that we owed $62.40 to get into our room. The lady at the desk told me we had to pay $X and when I showed her that I had, in fact, paid more than $X, she just rolled her eyes and repeated that I needed to pay $62.40 in order to get checked in. She got snappy with me when I dropped my card on her desk instead of handing it nicely to her and seemed to have no understanding why I was frustrated after paying a quoted amount that was more than what she had just told me I owed then having more demanded. I had driven four hours to get to the hotel so I was tired and just wanted to get checked in. She had no patience, no empathy, no care, and no flexibility or understanding. To top all that off, she ridiculed me for using a third party to book the stay, saying something like, "that's what you get for not booking directly" when I was still trying to understand this extra, unexpected expense (which has yet to be sorted out by the booking.com customer service...).
A light bulb fell out of the fixture in the bathroom while the fan was running. Somehow it didn't shatter. I suppose I don't blame the facilities staff for this too much, things happen and they fixed it quickly, but it was not a great part of the stay, regardless.
When my wife went to request a backup roll of toilet paper, she was chided by the front desk and told that they could "only give us one," like we were trying to sell TP on the black market or something. All we had asked for was an extra roll to avoid running out and they treated us like we were highway robbers. The price of the room was astronomical, it was rude and ridiculous to challenge us over a roll of toilet paper.
Absolutely nothing
We were traveling on Father's Day weekend and, like many people, found that rooms were few and far between. We came across this motel on Booking.com, where it was advertised as a room that normally rented for $750, discounted to a "bargain" price of $400.
With so few options available, we booked it expecting a high-end room—something special for that price. Instead, we walked into what felt like a $69 Motel 6 with a kitchenette. The room had walls painted three different colors, was in one of the least desirable areas of the property, and was nowhere near what was advertised.
Paying premium prices because of demand is one thing, but advertising a room as a luxury accommodation when it clearly isn't is another. Based on our experience, I honestly cannot recommend this motel and would not refer anyone to stay there.
Clean comfortable bed view had fridge and microwave
Charged for dog but no place to take her to go potty. No breakfast. Furniture very worn
Very comfortable bed, quiet, good location.
Room has a kitchenette but no dining table,so eating a meal was awkward. Also extremely small area for food prep.
Our stay was for 2 days, but we were allowed only 2 bath towels which is rather odd. The room was on the dark side - the kitchen area had no overhead lighting so it was a bit challenging to see what you were doing.
Location. Beds were very comfortable
Noise from above us
Location to the beach was fantastic. Everything in walking distance!
The tub was amazing after a long hike and day on the beach. The room was very clean and spacious.
Terrible WiFi and the people upstairs were extremely loud. The parking is tight and not easy to get out of if packed. The place can use some updating such as paint and new outlets.
very large apartment, spacious- easy check-in. About a 10 minute walk to the beach. The kitchen could have more utensils was a great place to stay. easy parking
