Good stopover
Pros:

Second visit. Good location, nice rooms. Pool is nothing to write home about and continental breakfast is merely adequate. But the pool and breakfast were not why we chose it.

The location was convenient

Cons:

They didnt have power outlets next to the bed, which was a bit inconvenient. There was no microwave in my room, ofw when i booked the photos and facilities listed said there was a microwave in the room. The bathroom door did not close! The shower was dirty with strands of hair everywhere. The reception/front area smelt awful, the smell would put you off before you even got to your room.

I'm sorry, but I need to be honest. The hotel wasn't good; when you entered the reception area and the room where I stayed, it didn't smell good, and there was a lot of noise in the hallway during the early morning hours. And most importantly, the breakfast was disappointing, not only for us but for some of the other guests we spoke to. There was only bread and butter; there wasn't ham, cheese, or eggs—nothing, just a very basic breakfast. We were very disappointed by this.

Pros:

A comfortable room, very adequate breakfast and quiet location. The hotel is in a quiet residential street so no outside noise from bars etc. We did have noisy neighbours on one night but otherwise it was quiet.The Continental breakfast was good and surprisingly adequate. We would definitely stay at the Argus again if we visit Darwin in the future.

Cons:

Nothing really to dislike.

Pleasant stay, closer to everything but some things not entirely up to scratch.
Pros:

The staff were welcoming and helpful, breakfast as included in the room rate generous and room clean and tidy.

Cons:

The shower was located in the bath which was disappointing, especially given that the sides of the bath were quite high, not happy with climbing in and out to have a shower.

Our room was around the corner from the lifts and into the night and then from 5am we could hear the lift going up and down breaking into our sleep.

Nice, clean and modern hotel
Pros:

Nice, clean modern room, continental breakfast was included. Staff at front desk were very happy to provide de-caf coffee upon request.

Cons:

We arrived into Darwin in the early evening - there were no pubs/cafes close by. Thankfully, the Argus did have a small fridge in the reception area where wraps etc. could be purchased.

Prima hotel voor kort verblijf
Pros:

Voor 1 of 2 nachten een prima hotel, heel aardig personeel en een technisch probleem werd snel opgelost.

Cons:

We hadden een gehorige kamer, konden de buurman horen snurken en er was niet echt een kitchenette.
