Small room at great location and price that could have been cleaner
Pros:

Very close to Istiklal, one of the most iconic streets in Istambul! Great location, very central, with a lor of restaurants and bars nearby, but the street was quiet enough for us not to hear any noise during the night. The receptionists were also pretty nice.

Cons:

The eoom is small, but it's worth the price. I felt that the room could have been cleaner, specially the sheets. Also, please don't list that you offer shampoo and body wash when all you had was mixed with water, so bad we could not even use it to wash our hands. You have to ask for the AC remote on the reception, it will otherwise not be given to you.

Saubere und sichere Unterkunft in der Nähe vom Taksim Platz
Pros:

Ich habe schon mehrmals in der Mint Residence übernachtet. Der Standort ist ideal. 2 Minuten zu Fuß zur Einkaufsstraße İstiklal Caddesi, gute 5 Minuten zur Metrostation Taksim, von der man Anbindungan an sämtliche Stadtteile Istanbuls hat.
Die Zimmer und das Hotel im Allgemeinen haben einen 70er Jahre Charme, sind also nicht modern eingerichtet, aber sie sind sehr sauber und für einen Städtetrip perfekt geeignet. Der Tages-Rezeptionist Eljan spricht sehr gut Englisch und auch der Nacht-Rezeptionist Serkan hilft einem bei allen Belangen sofort weiter, egal ob es um Besichtigungen, Hamam/Massagen, Restaurant-Tipps oder Flughafentaxis etc. geht.
Ich fühlte mich, wie immer, dort sehr gut aufgehoben und würde dort jederzeit wieder übernachten. Ich kann jedem, der eine (vor allem für allein Reisende Frauen) sichere und relativ kostengünstige Bleibe in der Nähe des Taksim Platzes sucht, diese Unterkunft nur ans Herz legen.

Cons:

Nichts. Alles war, wie immer, absolut in Ordnung.

Jeder der gerne Istanbul erkundet und keinen großen Wert auf Luxus legt, ist hier absolut richtig! Nette kleine türkisch
Pros:

Super zentrale Lage, alles schnell fußläufig erreichen. Gute Anbindung zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten per Metro und Bus.

Cons:

Zimmer leider ein kleines bisschen zu klein, konnten unseren Koffer kaum auf dem Boden öffnen aber man wusste sich irgendwie schon zu helfen.

Un hotel para pocas pretensiones, barato y cómodo
Pros:

Cama cómoda, ducha caliente y ubicación excelente

Cons:

Le falta mucho mantenimiento, teníamos una gotera en el baño y tardaron un par de días en repararlo, se notaba desgaste en empapelados, zócalos de madera saludos, no es como muestran en las fotos, nunca cambiaron una lámpara central así que teníamos las luces laterales nada mas

Buena opción cerca de la plaza Taksim
Pros:

La ubicación y la limpieza. El personal de recepción fue muy amable y pude dejar el equipaje antes del check-in y después del check out

Cons:

Habitación muy chica y en la noche se sentia el ruido de la gente que está en los bares de la calle. Solo afecta si dos muy sensible

Pros:

La ubicación, muy cerca de la plaza taksim y de la calle principal, muy bien.Nos trataron bien y la habitaciónes interiores muy tranquilas. El aire acondicionado funcionaba aunque daba mucho ruido al igual que la neverita, que es de agradecer. Había una tetera super limpia y dos aguas. Hacen las habitaciones diariamente gratis. El tamaño un poco justo sin espacio donde dejar las mochilas pero para unos días suficiente. La presión de la ducha muy bien!

Cons:

La cama muy pequeña y algo incómoda para mí gusto y las almohadas pequeñas y blandas. En el baño había alguna humedad, la tapa del WC rota, y la manilla de la puerta del baño también estropeada, pero nada importante. La iluminación de la habitación creo que podría mejorarse...

Pros:

Great stay overall. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, but what really stood out was the service at reception. Serkan was exceptionally helpful and friendly throughout my entire stay, always happy to answer questions, point me in the right direction, and make me feel welcome. I had several queries and he handled all of them with patience and a great attitude. That kind of personal touch makes a real difference. Would definitely recommend.

You can prefer Mint if you want to be in the city centre.
Pros:

The location is perfect, literally in the middle of Istiklal caddesi (Taksim square). Room was small but clean, you can sleep comfortably at night since there’s no noise issue. Special thanks to Ercan for his hospitality, he even helped us get tickets for a concert!🥰
